TEST IT

CLOVER.zip

Thanks for your work, much appreciated!

Unfortunately, it didn't help at all... Shutdown now freezes the computer completely, black screen, only hard reset helps. Sleep still causes instant reboot. And usual reboot seems to be working but takes a lot of time, which doesn't seem to be normal (didn't take that long on my old setup).

Hello MaLdOn.

Im Lorenzo from France.

You helped me some month ago to install Sierra on a MSI B250 Mortar, with a dsdt. I am trying to install High Sierra since some weeks, with your method, and I finally managed it today. My problem is I can't make appleALC working. I have no sound, and some little strange things with the display. It is not so smoothy than with Sierra...

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, that solved the instant restarts upon sleep! But sleep still isn't working despite your dsdt, wake reason is XHC. Wake from USB is completely disabled in bios. Shutdown causes some strange behaviour like a cmos reset or something like that, I can't boot again after shutdown. Have to reset several times or unplug the power chord to make the system boot again. So it seems restart still is the only thing working at the moment. Can you please help me with that? That would be great :)

I had two compilation errors with your dsdt and some dsm methods look strange somehow. Do you think that could be related to the problem?

hello! MaLd0n

Why I can't get into the system when I load the DSDT.

The mojave system is used.

When I entered, I saw an apple Icon without a progress bar.

Without loading DSDT, it can enter the system, but occasionally restart it in use.

Hello MaLd0n,

You're amazing helping all these people ! Respects !

Here's my first and brand new built: Strix Z370-I/I7-8700K/iGPU in DisplayPort, with HS 10.13.5.

I changed the WiFi/BT module for a BCM94352Z. WiFi is working. BT Stopped working (OK in windows with AirPods, up to 10 meters from antenna). I suspected some power management issues and attempted to make a custom SSDT to map all USB ports for USBInjectAll. NO success.

I'm not sure about the choice of the SMBIOS, I used iMac18.1 to avoid glitches with the display (3440 x 1440).

Can you help me? obrigado!

Thanks for your help, the DSDT worked so far and I managed to create my own as well :) That the boot process is hanging from time to time seems to be in fact hardware related. The USB keyboard isn’t recognized sometimes. As soon as I disable legacy usb support there is no hanging anymore. But this also means that I have to clear CMOS everytime I like to enter bios or switch boot drives in Clover. Strange issue...

Oh, no, I meant before Clover even starts. Bios hangs sometimes when trying to recognize the keyboard. Maybe its due to H370 USB 3.1 chipset or Asrock simply doing a bad job, I don't know. Wish there would be a better workaround than deactivating legacy USB support, which is more than inconvenient.
