mR.GeeK Posted July 19, 2018 Share Posted July 19, 2018 So, after about 32hrs of non-stop trail and error, I figured out what the issue is/was, still is cause I didn't solve it a 100%.... It's the ram, I know there are many recommendations out there on how to install your memory modules, but BTW it depends on which clover version you use, and what bios/uefi version you have installed.... Now my issue is, I can only have one memory module installed, and the system runs well, still testing. I tried all the other ram slots, and all of them resulted in the same thing, random kernel panics, or random freeze at clover reboot section. I'm thinking of creating a detailed config file for my system, but I'm not such a pro at this and I need the system up and running by tonight, any ideas, anyone? Edit: still Kp's Edit 2: removed 2nd memory and enabled memory remap again.... kp, but at least it passes the clover preboot. Everything seems to be OK but I'd like to fine tune it (I've got nothing in PCI section of About this mac and some weird changes with audio with wake and sleep). I just used your DSDT with my previous clover because I have to finish a job urgently… This is my new send-me after applying your dsdt: Send me Nydal-Phantom.zip Just one thing perhaps: ASMedia USB Controller (ASM1351) appears as 5Gb/s in Info System/USB and USBspeed is 0x4 in IORegistryExplorer (like regular USB3 devices). It should be USB 3.1 Gen2 (8 or 10Gb/s). A quick test with BlackMagic Disk Speed Test show 140 MB/s for read and write. However, I am aware that patching DSDT will make system run smooth. Also I do have USBInjectAll.kext and XHCI-200-injector.kext. At the moment they are not in my kext folder in clover.
