CLOVER.zip

the topic is about full DSDT patches, if u fix errors and warnings don't have difference if compared with ur original dsdt, errors and warnings don't fix nothing, stop shot in the water

Hi MaLd0n,

I have updated the Z270-UD5 with the F6d BIOS and it would be epic if you could take a look over the newest readout.

btw got some stupid bug (maybe it is cinebench's fault) that Cinebench doesn't go much over 4ghz for some time now. It used to hit 5.1Ghz all the time. Temps are. All good 40-50c.  Other programs use the full clock speed. Maybe there is some issue. Maybe not.

Still with the

GTX1070

I7 7700k @ 5.1 GHz

AirPort Wifi/BT card

Thank you very much.

Send me Boosts-iMac.zip

If i Replace, my system doesn't boot anymore. If I Merge, macOS by default keeps the most recent version of two files with the same name, so not all your files are moved. Can you tell me which are the important files I need to overwrite? Or probably you could just send me a complete CLOVER folder.

Thanks again, looking forward to try it!

Unfortunately it doesn't boot anymore, after replacing my files with yours. I made sure every file in your folder was copied over to my EFI folder (except for the Other folder).

Attached is what I see at boot.

hey MaLd0n, this is very weird and I pinpointed what's wrong, but I can't solve it.

I have switched back to my EFI folder (that boots ok and it's actually very stable except for wake/sleep issue).

Some more info for you:
If I use USBInjectAll.kext + XHCI-300-series-injector.kext with "change 15 port limit to 26 in XHCI kext" for HS 10.13.4, sleep/wake is broken: 20 sec after display shuts down, computer shuts down as well but immediately spins up again, stays on for 2 minutes and the cycle repeats. This could also be very harmful to my hardware.
If I remove all the mentioned patches, sleep/wake works flawlessly BUT if I attach external hard drives, they are recognised as internal drives (not a big deal, but I suspect something is wrong and I wouldn't like to play my chances).
By inspecting log show | fgrep -1 "Wake reason" I have found this:
2018-05-20 TIME 0x74 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) Facs->OspmFlags: 0x0
2018-05-20 TIME 0x74 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: XDCI XHC
2018-05-20 TIME 0x74 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: XDCI XHC
2018-05-20 TIME 0x74 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: IOPlatformWakeAction -> AppleRTC

The motherboard in question has 6+6 USB directly on the Z370 chipset, + 2 USB on the ASMedia controller, so the total number of USB ports is 14. I have tried different combinations but didn't get any result.
This problem is the most critical and all the help would be much appreciated.!

take a shot

DSDT.aml.zip

use power button for wake

BTW, use iMac18,3 or iMacPro1,1

Ok, I've tried the new DSDT.aml with iMac18,1, iMac18,3 and iMacPro1,1: it doesn't boot and it gives the same error.

Also, iMac18,3 has a dGPU so I preferred iMac18,1. Never seen a iMacPro1,1 around :)
