and the monitor is connected to the VGA port on the motherboard (not sure if that is important)

the installer goes very slowly because there is a very long list of <Warning> and <Error> messages:

Yes you are right, I know but that installer...must be near a blackhole....measures "time" differently.

unfortunately now it doesn't reboot at all. I get a stop sign just before the graphics start. Tried with the usb stick, the same.

just uncheck Inject Intel in Clover boot screen, press O, go to Graphics and uncheck, if have problem after that, go to acpi too, and rename dsdt.aml to dsdt02.aml

ok I am on the machine now. I had to un-check Intel and rename dsdt.aml to dsdt02.aml

 

I have never done this before :-)

 

So now it has LAN, obviously. No audio and the black screen tearing (top left corner) is there.

ready to reboot.  :-)

it only reboots if I uncheck IntelGraphics and rename dsdt.aml to dsdt02.aml.

but it's very fast

If I just uncheck IntelGraphics it doesn't boot.

 

BUT

 

if I just rename dsdt.aml to dsdt02.aml it boots (and it's very fast).

(and I think the screen tearing top left corner is gone too)
