Duran Keeley
Nice, hopefully High Sierra pops up soon. Sadly not, it takes 2/3 months after release for the source of a new os and high Sierra hasn't been released out of beta yet

Shaneee
I've had another attempt at Ryzen support. Please test on a test drive/partition in case it doesn't work. ** Kernel Removed **
jsl
I've had another attempt at Ryzen support. Please test on a test drive/partition in case it doesn't work. Thanks for this new test kernel which works very well at 10.12.6 in my FX-6300 hackintosh. I'll test it in Ryzen 1700X hackintosh later. [Edit] Unfortunately it got immediate reboot in Ryzen 1700X hackintosh. FX-6300.txt Edited September 8, 2017 by jsl

Traace
Try patched kernel . 1) Fixed mtrr.c ... 2) Fixed tsc.c and works for FX if in BIOS use auto multiplier . 3) Fixed cpuid ... 4) Fixed boot chameleon for FX and Kabini(need test) and can use auto multiplier in bios ... Download kernel : For El_Captain 10.11.6: kernel_10.11.6_Ryzen.zip For Sierra 10.12.4 : kernel_10.2.4_fix.zip Boot_chameleon: boot_chameleon_fix.zip Hi Community, I'd like to publish my test results. The Hardware configuration is listed in my signature. Booted with Clover UEFI. Kernel dated around 17th August by Bronya boots fast, some issues with ACPI listed in verbose, idk why just worth to mention. Applications that use Wine doesn't work, they usually crash at "sigkill missing instruction" Kernel dated 25th August by Bronya boots even faster, verbose is very clear there are no kernel related errors. Every tested Application runs perfect, no single crash. It's stable for daily use on a Ryzen. Great Job Bronya , Thanks

Gigamaxx
looks like mtrr need fixing... Have you tried 12.6 with 8/25 kernel for RX with the 12.6 kexts? Or do you still need the 12.5 kexts for RX 480?
pulseOXE
I've tested on Threadripper and found that it doesn't work. I've used the AMD_V5 build from AMD-OSX and using Shanee's kernel from the post above. Shanee's kernel gives me a kernel panic, and the kernel with AMD_V5 freezes on IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3 after failing to load com.apple.driver.pmtelemetry. Is there anything else I can test to get this to boot on my Threadripper system? EDIT: Seems like this may be a GPU issue.. Using a GTX 1080Ti. Going to research in other threads so I don't tie up this kernel dev thread, but I'm open to suggestions!

If you've made it to gioscreenlockstate your at the front door. Almost there. Try Bronya kernel 10,2. kernel_10 2.zip
Shaneee
Please test. I've been learning more about the code used and I've been investigating the Linux source for Ryzen support too. As before don't test on your main partition. kernel.zip

antrace
hello to all of you and thanks for the great work. ive successfully installed osx sierra on a msi pc mate b350 using a ryzen 1600, but sadly the most important program (cubase) cannot be run. better said its elicenser software refuses to run and gives errors. ive tried all the kernels here and none of them work on windows its a .net app if i remember right, so maybe this helps? https://www.steinberg.net/index.php?id=12892 soft can be free downloaded so maybe you can give it a try. any chance to get this thing running? regards
