MAD_COW
Well, I just installed osx86 a few days ago, and I love it. There is just one thing wrong. After installing, (10.4.6 from the JaS image, I rebooted and went through the registration {censored} and all that, in which it asked me which wireless network to connect to. I chose my network, and I could use the internet. It was great. The next time I rebooted, however, it said my AirPort was not configured and whatever I tried I could not get it to find my network. Once again, my card is a Linksys WMP54G PCI card with the Broadcom chipset. Please help, I would really appreciate it. HeroinHero
I had similar issues on a JaS 10.4.6 install dvd.. It detected my wireless as built-in ethernet rather than airport and stopped working after first boot.. I ended up using the goatsecx installation which worked perfectly for me. photon
Count me in. Exact same problem. WMP54G with broadcom chipset and 10.4.6 JaS. I had a look at the Apple Airport Extreme 2 kext and found the same PCI id as my card, but could not load the kext, even manually.
