JahStories
it was just luck... I was trying to properly enable hwp and bam! Btw maybe I could send the new package to you to do some tests... The issue is that with this new discovery, the system go to a different sleep state (led doesn't blink and wake with lid don't work) but there is no lid usb bug... (battery drains faster than standard sleep). I would like to understand if I can get proper full sleep with blinking led without lid usb bug prior to releaseing the new (and probably latest until someone fixes bt and wifi) FilePack... Let me know if you want to test via PM... @dodvip123 I'm sure that Rehab was speaking about desktop systems, on portables with same bios and same specs, your vanilla tables matches 100% mines. Sure, I'll test them within tomorrow. Thanks. It seems like you don't have the correct sleepstates activated. Does the same issue occur when you put it to sleep from the menu? Or just by closing the lid? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Check what hibernationmode you had before your changes and after. I don't remember the exact command, it was with pmset though. JahStories
Hibernation works perfectly, with mode 25 (the usual mode we use on hackintosh) the system saves ram to disk, shutsdown and restores from clover GUI with this latest discover! I know, for sure there is something preventing full sleep, but right now, I prefer partial sleep but no bugs than full sleep with bugs XD Sleep behave in this way with every "set to sleep" method... lid button and timer. I mean, probably, the lid bug will come back with others sleep modes, but we have to understand... (If this is the case, it's a thing that we can't control, the bug could be caused by kernel or usb drivers [on linux this issue got fixed with a modification to the kernel] and if it's so, this partial sleep could be the only thing to get us out of the usb lid bug hole) P.s. Luckily enough, I did a lot of tests and I haven't encountered any issue with usb or other stuff with this sleep state, the only downside is more battery drain on sleep and that the only way to wake is the power button (that keeps the light on, but the system is sleeping, fans stop spinning and all devices are disabled even usb wifi). An alternative I use is this scenario: Apple menu sleep/power button sleep -> wait for sleep (blinking LED) -> close lid -> wakeup by opening lid (USB etc working)

mengpo
Hi there, Thanks again for this tutorial ! I followed everything as said on the first page but I got something weird. I cannot use the other custom resolution available on RDM. There's another thing which I think is related to my problem, is that normal that the VRAM displayed on the status panel is 7Mo ? Also, I got a lot of glitches when I'm surfing on the net... I don't know how to set that :/ Thanks in advance for your answers Edit : My bad, I forgot to recopy the original AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer.kext Thanks anyway

hobbit19
I think that we can add 8260 support to https://github.com/ammulder/AppleIntelWiFiMVM The new code with Linux OS is https://github.com/OSEC-pl/kmod-iwlwifi Since the driver on Linux iwlwifi Https://github.com/qoriq-open-source/linux/commit/a5d4f5196d00d5bfae124ab1f2f46e11a1eeb781

TiJack
Hello ! I'm stuck when booting with the USB key, it displays a loading bar which stops at around 80% more or less, without moving and the mouse loading cursor on the top left... Didn't find any solution, could someone help ? Also, the parts aren't detailed enough I suppose, I think I'm missing something... Thanks
JahStories
Mhhh You are surely doing something wrong, everything is detailed and reported as working from multiple users, just be sure you are using the provided files in the right way and that you are using the latest Sierra installer (10.12.0 isn't supported) edit.... Are you using fake id right?
mareikewager
I've upgraded from 1.09 to 2.0 and macOS won't boot now anymore. There's just a stop sign after the clover bootloader. Verbose mode says: OsxAptioFix2Drv: Starting overrides for System\Library\Core Services\boot.efi - This version of mac osx ist not supported on this platform - I've read all your instructions, double checked and tried twice. Try to boot in safe mode and roll back to the 1.09 files to check if it's better. @ClaudesTech I've replied on Telegram yesterday's night
JahStories
This version of mac osx ist not supported on this platform We are using mbp13,1 SMBIOS, this being supported from 10.12.2, that error is not related to the files pack, but to a wrong configuration of it. kevin_1351
This version of mac osx ist not supported on this platform We are using mbp13,1 SMBIOS, this being supported from 10.12.2, that error is not related to the files pack, but to a wrong configuration of it. That error comes from NOT setting the serial number in the config.plist! He probably overwrote his old config with the new one without copying the SN. Edit: I've also analyzed the sleep issue for many days now. If you take a look at the old ioReg vs the new one, there are definitely some inconsistencies. Please have a look at piker's blog where he made a blog post about sleep related issues 2 months ago. Also, setting dark-wake to any value different than 00 (for it to do nothing) breaks sleep, which indicated that theres an issue with the various sleep steps. As I see it, currently, when the system goes to sleep, only a part of the sleeping mechanism goes into effect. That also explains why the successfulSleep flag doesn't get set if you take a look in the ioReg (check piker's blog post). It doesn't even exist, while it did before. So, the system only partially goes to sleep and thus doesn't set the flag. This also explains why it draws that much battery. Although 13.1 is the most fitting SMBIOS, have u also tried other ones? Like the 13.2? Or something completely different? Try to choose one without power management. Since you have implemented that with HWP anyway. Maybe the power management in this SMBIOS is interfering with HWP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes, I've tested it with the clover version from yesterday. @TiJack Same behavior in safe mode. JahStories
You are doing something wrong or messed up your install! Start from scratch... @kevin Yes sleep is partial and there is a issue announced on the download page... Btw that's the only thing that fixes lid bug and that's a real problem since it's killing usb each time the lid is closed. There is no way I've found yet to achieve full sleep (without lid bug). (keep in mind that the machine is still sleeping btw, just on different state). The problem could be even related to the macOS kernel itself (since this issue was present on older linux kernels and fixed on newer) or to the USB drivers... (in both cases we can't do nothing, only Apple could.) There is nothing to do with SMBIOS, just a minimum knowledge about how it works, would let understand that. Btw Since I've sended to you the package before release why didn't you wrote me a report on PM? It's too easy to come around saying what's wrong without actually helping in any way. What I can tell you is, if you think you can fix something, do it and let us know don't say its PM, it's HWP, it's Xiaomi, it's Apple, just fix it. I did not mean to tell you that it was your fault or anything. I've not had the time to look at it before 3 days ago. I was really just trying to help. I've also read that there are different power management profiles for different SMBIOS models, that's why I thought that it could be interfering. What you're saying in regards to the linux fix though makes sense. It could be that the kernel's too old. I really did not intend fo sound condescending. I've really tried to find the issue just as you have. I'm quite short on time though, that's why it has taken me so long, and why I haven't tested everything myself.
