kevink_consistent
Hi All; I have a macbook pro running OSX 10.11.14 (El Capitan). I want to convert it to a VM to run on my Linux host (vnware workstation). In the past I've succeeded in installing vmware fusion on the mac and choosing an option to create a vm from the running host. That option seems to have dissappeared. Can anyone advise on how to accomplish this now? Thanks in advance

You can find Disk Utility app inside Applications folder under Utilities. Disk utility will create a dmg file which could be converted to vmdk for using in VMWare by virtualbox which is a free software google it and you'll find it easily. Good luck.
