mnfesq
10.12.1 developer beta broke my wifi. EDIT: Rolling back to 10.12.0 version of IO80211Family.kext restored wifi. At least that helps to isolate the problem. EDIT 2: Bluetooth Handoff support is also affected by 10.12.1's IO80211Family.kext.

Taruga
Found this issue I haven't seen anyone having before; started with DP6 but now with DP7 it's much worse; Sometimes randomly, I don't exactly know why as the log doesn't really show anything that could be related to it, sierra resets itself to the login screen. If you have a movie playing or music list in VLC that continues behind the login screen! What I think I see in the logs is some memory issues, but keeps complaining about cache issues; Aug 24 15:01:09 iMac logd[57]: 116577928 bytes of purgeable space from log files Aug 24 15:01:09 iMac logd[57]: _purge_uuidtext only runs at urgency 0 (3) Aug 24 15:01:09 iMac logd[57]: 0 bytes of purgeable space from uuidtext files Aug 24 15:01:09 iMac logd[57]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f8103244a40, 3, 0) Aug 24 15:01:12 iMac logd[57]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f81014334e0, 3, 0) Aug 24 15:01:12 iMac logd[57]: _volume_contains_cached_data(is /private/var/db/diagnostics/ in /) - YES Aug 24 15:01:12 iMac logd[57]: 116613392 bytes of purgeable space from log files Aug 24 15:01:12 iMac logd[57]: _purge_uuidtext only runs at urgency 0 (3) Aug 24 15:01:12 iMac logd[57]: 0 bytes of purgeable space from uuidtext files This gets spammed in my log, like every few sec... haven't been able to pinpoint it to a cause yet but this is more than likely the cause of the reset. Anyone got any idea what this is? clearing caches obviously doesn't solve this. It's just to bad of an else really nice hack. I uninstalled iStat Menus and my log is not being flooded anymore with : Sep 22 01:19:07 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a0247d0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:07 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a262cb0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:07 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f8138513d20, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:07 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a312aa0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:07 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a24a8a0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:10 --- last message repeated 1 time --- Sep 22 01:19:10 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a24a4c0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:10 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f8138622250, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:10 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a265550, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:10 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813844f310, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:10 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a31fb50, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:10 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f8138619290, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:10 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a312aa0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:10 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f8138528480, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:12 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a241920, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:12 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a332d80, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:12 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f8138528500, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:12 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813842a0d0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:12 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813862a5f0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:12 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813844fc60, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:12 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a33ad20, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:12 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813844ff70, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:12 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a24a5a0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:12 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f8138733140, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:13 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f81385114c0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:13 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813844fa90, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:13 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a23fd10, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:13 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813862a820, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:13 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a31af50, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:13 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813a22c6b0, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:13 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f813842dd70, 3, 0) Sep 22 01:19:13 Taruga logd[75]: _handle_cache_delete_with_urgency(0x7f8138713840, 3, 0)
