Macguy2991
Hello everyone, I've registered on this site purely to show that installing OS X on an AMD 7850K APU can be done, as there seems to be a lot of speculation on many forums that it's 100% unsupported and won't work. To be honest, It put me off trying. But I got bored one day and decided to try, having already done this to a Yoga 13 laptop with working touchscreen. (after about 2 days messing around things are working) And what's more I'm also using an XFX R9 380 4gb version, and is also working oob. I've been using Windows all my life, I don't know about Kernels and such. But with research and time it's working 100% with full graphics acceleration. Got installed with bootflags (/amd1 npci=0x2000) Booted with (msibase=0x90) and made the relevant changes to the boot.plist after ##### bootloader injection. spakk
You should not believe everything which some unsuspecting users write on various forums! but what is not Okay is to work with distros. Here you can find various executable AMD and AMD APU systems without using distros.
