Sorry if this has been asked before, but can anyone recommend a rock-solid X99 board to use ?  I have a Gigabyte X99-UD4 (rev1) board and keep having issues with OSX like sleep, idle power, CPU turbo speeds, USB issues, etc.  I have similar issues running Ubuntu (Linux), so I think my board is starting to go bad.

 

I would like to install OSX 10.13 and use it as a daily driver with 2x 750TI video cards.   I  need a system that will support sleep/suspend, CPU turbo speeds, audio, and LAN out of the box with minimal tweaking.  I spent many days last time getting my last X99 board working; I would prefer to leverage someone's existing clover config if possible.

Hey guys, super noob here.

 

My rig specs:
Asus X99 Deluxe

i7 6800K CPU

32Gb DDR4 2400 Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x16Gb)

Geforce GTX 1080

SSD + HDD

EVGA G3 750w gold PSU 

 

I had prior success with High Sierra Hackintosh build on 200 Intel platform, but now i have X99 motherboard and things got frustrated. As far as i can get for now is Clover freezing at Apple Usb Host Resources followed by crash with crossed circle icon (It a usb 2.0 stick) 
I've tried different kexts and Fake CPU IDs like 0x0306e4 & 0x0040670, 0x0040674, also UEFI drivers but problems persists...

 

Maybe anyone can help me out to get a working Clover EFI? I would really appreciate, i've attached the EFI I have for now, will be grateful for any suggestions !

welcome. we have almost and the same display)) well, you could try to detach that board and report hows going... crossed circle if I am remembered its about using wrong cupid...

I've used the CPUID from your EFI (0x040674), haven't changed it. Unfortunately removal of TB card didn't help :((

Ok so TB card wasn't an issue, i ran clover again with all available patches and got some improvement, getting to MAC framework successfully initialized,

and after that it's freezing at HID: Legacy

 

Any idea what's causing it?

please check all UEFI settings... also try to boot with minimal kext and patches...

CPU 2 x Xeon Silver
GPU: Radeon RX 580 Pulse
RAM: 73GB
HDD: 4 x SSD 256 on Asus Hyper M.2 X16 - 1 system drive, 3 RAID 0 drives per data.
Housing: Mac Pro :-) I did it myself. :-)

hello brave people ... after update from 10.13.5 to 10.13.6 all ok, first day, ... now I see some freeze, image are funny)) 

Nvidia drivers are old.. MacWebDriver 378.10.10.10.25.104... with new drivers for 10.13.6 I have black screen, connected over DVI, with DP black screen and with old drivers

some ideas are welcomed
