I do not usually use (Intel® XMP) or overclock cause I do not feel the need to do it and prefer to work with the lowest possible temperature. But if i select XMP Profile 1, in the "About This Mac" the correct speed of the RAM automatically appears, in my case 3200Mhz and it works stably and with more score, but as I said I do not feel the need to use it.

Have you made any more progress or is it all the same? You have in these pages a lot of information, plist, kext, complete EFIs, complete solutions of people that have board and processor equal to your...

Good luck

are you sure that ram work at 3200 in osx???? I don't think osx could support that speed!!

DSDT patches not working here.

Hanging at boot, timeout

You have to change device ID for each devices.

The only thing that proves what I said is these prints. Whether OSX supports it or not, it seems to me it supports. And as I said, it takes the maximum RAM speed and increases the GB score if I select XMP in Profile 1. With XMP disabled, it shows only the base speed 2333Mhz and the GB obviously decreases!

Doubts? :P

Can you post your extended GB changes pre and post XMP?

I have always been curious about the impact.

Thanks for the question - I did not make any reasonable progress.. I studied plenty of posts and files here, that is how I learned about nmano 5960x patch for 10.12 in the first place :) I tried several ways to setup my DSDT by using patches provided by nmano and other people, without final success. My machine works stable (even incomplete) when I do not use USB3. It works event without any DSDT, but there is no any PCI devices presented in System Report.

So, if there is anyone who got stable USB3 on Gigabyte GA X99 UD4, I would be thankful for pointing me to appropriate post/files.

Did anyone of GA X99 UD4 users experienced reboot on every cold boot, and have you solved it somehow?

Such reboot happens exlusively on cold boot (after shutdown) and it is always long after verbose output, after OS graphics start to present apple with progress bar, and it happend few times event split second after presenting GUI. So it seems that it has nothing to do with basic boot settings.  Any ideas?

Does it have something to do with processor power managemen (I use NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and VoodooTSCSync.kext as well as SSDT created using MaciASL )?

In system preferences I've that screen too...in my case is 3000 because my ram is so. But if I set in bios auto or 3000 at frequency speed OS X hangs. That is only "cosmetic" it sees your hardware specs and it doesn't mean that your ram runs at 3200

With X99 Board you can't test to enable Apple Bus Power Controller USB

Hi there!

How can i apply this via dsdt clover patch?

Everytime i try with dsdt.aml (and drop oem_DSM) it begins a reboot loop..

I'll attach the original DSDT

I must be (check!) a totaly jack'but', 'cause i can't patch this!

The DSDT (i reuploaded it in the original post), is generated in clover boot (F4 method). Can't possibly be patched since i didn't patch it or did anything to it.

Is it possible to have errors without anyone touching it?

I'm terribly sorry, must i am totally lost!

Can't it be patched in the ACPI tab of clover configurator? like:

it would be awesome!

Well if it's really just cosmetic I do not know! GB also says the same information...

You have several unuseful kext in your EFI/Clover/kext dir....where did you take them? Maybe someone suggest you to use those kexts?

MSR_PKG_POWER_LIMIT..............(0x610) : 0x7FFD00014EA82

If anyone fix this?

I dont know

UInt64 msr_value = rdmsr64(MSR_PKG_POWER_LIMIT);
// Setting bits.
// msr_value |= (1L << 16);
// msr_value |= (1L << 48);
// Clearing bits.
msr_value &= ~(1L << 16);
msr_value &= ~(1L << 48);
wrmsr64(MSR_PKG_POWER_LIMIT, msr_value);

Hi guys, I need help

I generated the SSDT, I used freqVestorsEdit, but still speedstep and turbo does not work.

When using NullCpuPowerManagement speedstep works, but the core work only in the range 1.2-3.3Ghz, if overclocked to 4.2Ghz, the first 2 core will work on 4.2 and the rest 4 - 3.3Ghz

My EFI folder - https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArLPkmcocLJiqGX98784JYxqdE59 (dsdt and ssdt - EFI/Clover/ACPI/)

Pardon the grammar, I use google translate

PC Specs:

GPU - GTX 660 Ti Reference

CPU - i7-5820K

RAM - 2x4Gb Crucial DDR4 2133Mhz

MB - EVGA X99 Micro (2.02 bios)

Sierra 10.12.1, UEFI Clover r3923

#Motherboard: X99-E WS

#BIOS: 3201

#try this and report don't add any DSDT patches via config

New ioreg, config.plist, preboot.log: new.zip

no sound, no second ethernet, no pci info, no sleep

Should I change the config file, or that's okay?

Should I add or remove some kext?

I still have not installed clover on the hard drive ...

These are the kext in the USB drive installer:

kext/10.12 :

ACPISensors.kext

CPUSensors.kext

FakeSMC.kext

GPUSensors.kext

LPCSensors.kext

NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

USBInjextAll.kext

XHCI-x99-injector.kext

kext/other: IONVMeFamily.kext
