McSkywalker
PowerISO in Windows should be able to do that. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31286-nrg-to-iso/#findComment-217455 Share on other sites

DiaboliK
nero works best since nrg is nero's proprietay format. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31286-nrg-to-iso/#findComment-217492 Share on other sites
McSkywalker
nero works best since nrg is nero's proprietay format. Sure, but is there a Nero version built for Mac OS X? He apparently has only Mac OS. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31286-nrg-to-iso/#findComment-217500 Share on other sites

Stadsport
I've found that a lot of the time, nrgs created with Nero are just ISO files with an NRG extension. Try renaming it to .iso, it's pretty likely it'll work. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31286-nrg-to-iso/#findComment-217621 Share on other sites
kjur
try this out: nrg2iso - 1.0 - it's freeware! http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/27691 or http://www.x2studios.com/index.php?page=products&id=21 this is actually GUI for the tool Linker- put earlier. br0adband
Rhapsody beat me to it. nrg files are iso files, just rename the *.nrg file to *.iso and burn. Simple. bb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31286-nrg-to-iso/#findComment-218226 Share on other sites
crazyJAT
When I either convert and NRG to ISO using nrg2iso or just rename the NRG to and ISO I still can't mount or burn the image under OS X. Gives me a message in disk utility saying "not recognized". The NRG files work fine in Windows with daemon tools or burning with Nero. What do I do now? I keep lots of BIN & CUE, ISO, NGR, DMG files on my hard drive as a backup. Anytime I need to burn one, I would prefer not having to boot into windows.
