MacPeet
Maybe several reboots Please do not use the debug for 790! For 780/760 only the debug version from post # 869 No old AppleALC in S/L/E ? Kext Inject in config.plist YES? (See CloverConfigurator) The old codec layoutID 11 worked but with you? My 780 works with both layoutID's very well. layoutID 11 - ManualMode: layoutID 13 - Autodetect HP or connect HP

Kext inject is YES. old codec layoutID didn't work. I do have voodoo kext, because after voodoo kext it showed me volume control. could that be causing the problem? MacPeet
Yes of course. It does not work with VoodooHDA in the system. delete VoodooHDA delete AppleHDADisabler.kext or HDADisabler.kext in S / L / E

chris1111
Of course the debug works with 790. The Optiplex 790 has however ALC269VB with LayoutID 15 (0F). The new codec AD1984A LayoutID 13 (0D) is for Optiplex780/760 only. try this: trial_debug_new_Codec_Optiplex790.zip new Codec ALC269VB for Optiplex790 layoutID 16 (10) Works

MacPeet
@chris1111 Are both now visible (LineOut and HP)? My French is not good. With the Autodetect-Mode only one should be visible. Change at Connect. So that means i'll still need an external speaker. Thanks for the help @Macpeet or HDMI-Sound with HD5450

polyzargone
@MacPeet Works great here on 760 SFF with layout 13 (OD). Auto-detection is also working fine . Just one little thing : Lilu.kext 1.1.7 is crashing on my rig so I had to revert back to 1.1.6 which is OK.
MacPeet
@polyzargone Perfect Ok, with me no problems with 1.1.7.
