Denicio
- first installed Clover_v2.4k_r4114 - reboot - made Time Machine-backup ! - installed 10.12.5 - reboot with fake ig-platform-id - placed AppleALC.kext (v1.1.2) in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other - placed Lilu.kext (v1.1.4) and Intelgraphicsfixup.kext (v1.1.5) in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other - added earlier mentioned text in config.plist in 'kext to patch' section to replace 'AQMDAw==' with 'AQMEAw==' - reboot normally with ig-platform-id 1912000 - succes! So I only changed the installation path of Lilu.kext and Intelgraphicsfixup.kext to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other Thank you very much for your help! Doesn't everyone mention that you can't run lilu.kext from CLOVER's location? I thought you need to explicitly put it on S/L/E.
DutchAcerOne
Doesn't everyone mention that you can't run lilu.kext from CLOVER's location? I thought you need to explicitly put it on S/L/E. I installed Lilu.kext and Intelgraphicsfixup.kext, still in 10.12.4, in several locations and it crashed always (expected...). I could stop the crashing by adding parameter -igfxoff and -liluoff. That also worked when the kexts were in the /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.12 location so I think the kexts were handled correctly, because the extra disable-parameter was interpreted. Then I moved them to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other and it stil works. I have a feeling that it is better to handle non-Apple kexts not direclty in the local harddisk? Update: with Kext Wizard.app I can see on the last tab that they are both loaded.

osxyer
Hi everyone, I have the Asrock H170 pro4, not the M version. The Cpu is i5-6600k not overclocked, nvidia gtx 1060 6gb, 1tb corsair, 16gb ram (2x8) ddr4, 1tb corsair, usb2-3 ports I have a kernel panic attack when I wake from sleep. Everything seems to work fine (even usb3 speeds) except waking from sleep. My kexts used are FakeSMC, IntelMausiEthernet, RealtekALC, USBInjectALL. What can it be? Thank you very much!! I've successfully installed 10.12.4 on my hackie but after going through a bunch of iMessage guides i still can't get it to work for me. Thanks in advance i have similar specs to you i have the same motherboard 15 6400 16gb ram and Nvidia gpu the way i got it to work out the box is set up the usb like it was the main drive. enable wifi so when your done with the setup wifi works from the start and when you sign in to icloud everything should work. also use smbios 18,3 i also wanted to report i upgraded to 10.13 and everything worked except sound but there is a fix for it on tonymac86x but besides that i was messing around with sleep and its partially working! i put my computer to sleep for 30 min and instead of having a kernel panic and restarting when trying to wake up the system itself woke up. i say partial because after the system woke up everything was laggy and slow but after a restart that fixed the issue. maybe we can work from this and finally get sleep fully working!

I know you aren't already running on intel HD 530, but any additional input you have with regard this inquire will be welcome, thanks in advance! The attached files are not updated, you are right. What I can tell you though as far as my installation goes is that "SSDT-2.aml" is still used as-is. What's changed is that now you can place Lilu.kext, AppleALC.kext and IntelGraphicsFixup.kext (latest versions) on CLOVER folder. It would be good to get also another member's advice since now I don't run HD530 as my primary GPU, as you said. Best of luck and skills!

heisian
Hi Denicio, I successfully followed your guide a while back and got things working well. Once using the setup in normal everyday use, however, it would freeze every once in a while for no reason. Reading your guide again, I think I was using OsxAptioFixDrv-64 instead of OsxAptioFix2Drv-64. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. I am going to try a completely clean install again to see if it helps. I also got a Geforce GT 710 later on but was unable to get video to work.. during bootup everything would be fine until getting to the very end of the sequence and as far as I can guess the system was running but wasn't sending video to the right port. Any advice on this? Would it have anything to do with GFX0 renaming to IGPU? thanks,
heisian
I've got it! I installed on an external HDD this time, and using OsxAptioFix2Drv-64 so far so good it seems, with video output going to my Geforce GT 710 just fine without any additional options. Maybe a fresh install while the GPU was placed on the motherboard had the macOS installer copy/config something vital for it to work? This is the base 10.12 install, however. I will try upgrading and see, or maybe just leave it at this and not upgrade ever.. UPDATE:I just successfully updated to 10.12.6 without adding Lilu.kext or Intel/NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext. Not sure why I didn't need it in my case. I did not have any NVIDIA web drivers installed either. Here are my system specs for anyone interested (using the same config.plist and .kexts as specified in this guide): ASRock H170M-ITX/DL Intel i3-6100 3.7GHz Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 8GB Samsung 850 EVO 250GB mSATA SSD MSI GeForce GT 710 Antec ISK 310-150 Mini ITX Desktop Case w/ 150W PSU Noctua NH-L9i Low-profile CPU Cooler https://pcpartpicker.com/user/heisian/saved/fbsvVn Thanks to everyone in this thread & especially Denicio for their work. Here is a GitHub repo of my CLOVER folder: https://github.com/heisian/H170M-ITX-DL-macOS

Here is a GitHub repo of my CLOVER folder: https://github.com/heisian/H170M-ITX-DL-macOS GT710 is known to work almost OOB, it just needs to wake up and send video signal after macOS boot. Maybe recent Clover versions are handling this automatically, and that's why you don't need NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext. Either way, good going, enjoy! The on board graphics of the CPU should be much faster than this golden oldie GPU: http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GeForce-GT-710-vs-Intel-HD-530-Desktop-Skylake/m21096vsm33102
