Modify Info.plist to switch 168c:30 id to 168c:34.

Hello, I have Killer 1435, 168c:3e.

I tried the kext. It doesn't work. Can can someone help me how to port the driver?

Thanks!

Got partial success on AR9462!

I managed to get working 5 ghz. The card thinks it's in Japan for some reason.

It connects and is stable on 5 ghz. For some reason the system freezes sometimes on 2.4 Ghz. The freezing is intermittent and only seems to be on 2.4 ghz, not 5 ghz.

Also, for some reason the card doesn't scan networks on a cold boot. I have to boot into Windows/Linux and do a warm reboot from Windows/Linux into OS X to have working wifi.

Update: Fixed 2.4 Ghz freezing. Just had to change country code from JP to FCC.

@coolstarorg,

Sure!

I also uploaded patched AirPortAtheros40.kext for AR9462 MacRev 2.

DW1901 (pci168c,34)

Tested and working on Dell studio 1535 on macOS 10.12 (16A323).

You can give it a try to see if it works on your system...

AirPortAtheros40.unpatched.zip

Hi, @coolstarorg and @chunnann could you let me know how did you port the drivers?

I have killer 1435 soldered onboard, (168c:3e), wondering how I can make it work.

Some searching seems to suggest that recent QCA 802.11ac chipsets use a different HAL. I'm not sure if patching AirPortAtheros40 (based off the older HAL for Atheros 802.11g/n cards) driver would be feasible in this case.

An AR9485 owner here. I could fix wi-fi with black-dragon's ATH9KInjector. But there are two problems:

1. It doesn't connect to one of my routers. It's an OEM LTE modem from my operator. It says invalid password, tried charging security to open then it couldn't get an IP. Even tried manual IP, but it didn't work. Even tried AR9485.10.13.v21.zip, still no success.

I have no problem with it in Windows though.

2.  Bluetooth doesn't work. MacOS claims it's on but it doesn't discover nor show up on any devices.

BTW thank you for your hard work.

I did not have time to test with Mojave

are all Lilu plugins, so Lilu has to be loaded first. simply put everything into Others

hi, I tried installed the wifi kext v21 on my high sierra and both wifi and BT is working. However, after about 2 minutes, when I clicked the wifi icon, the system will stuck on loading icon (rainbow ball) and eventually freeze the system.

Does anyone got this problem too?

With the v21 (AR946X.10.13.v21) version I have some problems (my wifi card is the AR9462, and I run 10.13.1 but the problem was the same in the 10.13.0). The system crash sometime when the wifi is connected, like it is stuck on something and then the only thing I can do is to restart the system.

Hi, I'm trying to use ATH9KFixup + Injector and Wi-Fi actually works.

But I have a weird problem: in cold boot and around 3 out a 5 times I reboot, system gets unresponsive and I can't do anything but reboot, sometimes not even that because terminal doesn't show what I'm typing and restart prompt doesn't pop up, so I end up doing an hard reset... It's a truly weird problem because it doesn't happen all the times and only after 15/30 seconds I boot the laptop, I guess there are conflicts with some kind of kexts... My pc is in the signature, I will post efi and ioreg if needed, in the meanwhile I ask if anyone had the same issue. Thanks in advance!

I confirm this problem.
Judging by the reports in this topic, it occurs only on 946x
Has anyone solved it?
