basith
hey guys, i tried to to install yosemite 10.10.1 on my dell inspiron 5721 using the guide from the insanely mac website.the guide was followed as it is,everything went well but the installation process came up using disk utility i formatted a newly created partition using windows 10 which is already installed on my laptop into mac journal extended format..the installation started it says 6 mins to go and restarts..then comes into clover again says "automatically booting into mac os x"..and again the installation starts from first.I repeated the procedure 2-3 times but the same result. The only thing in the guide which is not executed is the step 6."Install screen will appear, use Disk Utility to format your drive as GPT, create a Mac OS X Extended (Journaled) partition and install Mavericks to your formatted partition."as my hdd is all ready partitioned in the gpt format.so guys any help regarding his?the guide followed form insanely mac link : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299911-dell-inspiron-3x21-5x21-clover-install-guide-dell/ Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311684-rebooting-at-the-time-of-installation/ Share on other sites

LockDown
show installer log (show all) while installing. this could be a hardware issue if it reboots without any error in the log Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311684-rebooting-at-the-time-of-installation/#findComment-2230115 Share on other sites
