fantomas
After the recent Pike R. Alpha discovery about new "MacBook 9,1" frequency data in the latest OS X 10.11.4 release, this time a new reference to "macOS" has been discovered by another developer Guilherme Rambo. The framework can be found in OS X 10.11.4 at "/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/FlightUtilities.framework" and was later independently verified by MacMagazine, which speculated that the next release could be "macOS 11" instead of OS X 10.12. Mirone
I had read it in MacMagazine, a few days ago particularly I prefer OSX 10.12. 3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311643-a-macos-reference-discovered-in-10114/#findComment-2228942 Share on other sites
Riley Freeman
Makes sense from a consistency point of view and I don't think Apple really see X as a brand anymore. It has a nice ring to it. 4 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311643-a-macos-reference-discovered-in-10114/#findComment-2228961 Share on other sites

Mr. Xtreme
Apple doesn't tell you el capital is free starting from 10.9. Actually, they do, you need OS X 10.6.8 or later as it brought the mac app store. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311643-a-macos-reference-discovered-in-10114/#findComment-2229026 Share on other sites

Would be nice if Apple bring back the "Brushed metal style" again for Finder. 3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311643-a-macos-reference-discovered-in-10114/#findComment-2229041 Share on other sites
fantomas
@Allan Following the logic with El Capitan, the new OS is expected to look more like the iOS design. And certainly one day, we should have a single common design for all OS's. And to be even more crazy, a single operating system for all devices. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311643-a-macos-reference-discovered-in-10114/#findComment-2229050 Share on other sites
