Neblogas
Hello everyone, I'm struggling to get my audio to work. Speakers: The problem is that speakers are detectedas internal, connecting headphones output changes to "Headphones" I can turn volume up and down, but there is no sound coming out, nor through speakers nor through headphones. The "Mute" button is greyed out but not selected. In AudioMidiSetup.app speakers are also detected as internal. I can slide the volume, but no sound. "Master" is greyed out. I can choose between 2ch 48hz 16 & 24 bit, and 2ch 96hz 16 & 24 bit. No 44,1hz option. Hackintool shows as Conexant (????????) Layout-id is set to 15 alsamixer(ubuntu) shows CX8070 HDMI also no audio and video Microfone: Looks like it works. Reacts to voice in Sound preferences, did not try to record. HARDWARE: Lenovo S540 14IML i7 10510u Nvidia MX250(disabled in BIOS) Intel UHD 620 12GB RAM 1TB NvME 512GB SSD(macOS Mojave 10.14.6) Any help would be great. I'm stuck from here. I could provide some files if needed. Cheers!
zack8078
Hello all, Long time Hackintosh user, very grateful for the community and being able to use the software for all of these years... Simple problem here: I'm using v 1.4.6 of AppleALC on 10.15.3 Asus ROG Maximus X which has a Realtek 1220. My installation works great, but my mic is just way too low on volume. Is there any way to edit the kext to boost the input levels or should I just buy a hardware preamp? Works fine on Windows, so it's not a hardware issue. Thanks in advance for any help. jin2k9
I have a "Lenovo Ideacentre Y900-34ISZ" which is supposed to have a ALC892 soundchip. I am currently trying to get it working on Catalina (10.15.2). Is this supposed to work with the current release of applealc.kext combined with the current lilu.kext ? If not could someone please add it ? I made a codec dump using linux which I have attached. Would be really greatfull if someone could add support for it. PS: HDMI audio seems to work. MacPeet
hello @vandroiy2012 Excuse me if I'm annoying. Unfortunately my new codecs have been forgotten twice in the new releases. ALC1220 - LayoutID 30 (1E) for Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 - SwitchMode new_Resources_alc1220.zip all devices work well ALC292 - LayoutID 15 (0F) for LENOVO THINKPAD T450/T450s/X240/...(Serie, all with this alc292) - ManualMode new_Resources_alc292.zip Headphones do not work with other IDs. Only with this configuration (headphones as LineOut and ManualMode) do both connections of the combination socket work. Now all devices work internally and externally. Can you please add the new codecs in the next release? many thanks

Unfortunately my new codecs have been forgotten twice in the new releases. Hi. Sorry for this. Two times i forget about this folder on my desktop It would be nice if you make Pull Request now and in future. This will help me to merge resources right before making release and i will delete early mentioned folder from my desktop. I use it only for your resources. Other contributors already make Pull Requests. Thanks in advance.

MacPeet
@vandroiy2012 I have Xcode 11.3.1 Command Line Tools for 11.3.1 now installed again same result Now I've seen with github I can make pull request. Please check my first pull request! (ALC292 - LayoutID 15 for LENOVO THINKPAD T450_T450s_X240 - ManualMode)Is the zip file enough? I can't create another pull request either. I can not load the second codec. I only have a github-free account and only a developer-free account. Sorry for my lack of experience. I used to develop a lot on Windows with Visual Studio, but I still lack experience with Xcode on macOS. Thank you for your patience with me.
