I tried all the outputs, both with speakers and headphones.

I would like to point out that with mojave 10.13.6 and audio_cloverALC-130_v0.3 of Toleda it was working. I do not know if it can help

Hi. again

Any1 help me please.

This ioreg file is taken when 2 displays (Acer K242HYL 1080p LCD monitor and LG 43LF5400 42" TV) are connected. What i want is HDMI Audio through TV.

hi. all

i have replaced my old GeForce 9500GT with GTX 650 for installing Mojave. My rig info is in my signature.

Installed Mojave and it runs cool but audio through HDMI does not work when connecting to TV. Same with High Sierra.

Old card was working and it had a cable connecting the card to S/PDIF out header on mainboard.

new card does not have such a thing. So i guess it is made to work without that S/PDIF cable.

i have read somewhere that WhateverGreen.kext should fix HDMI audio problem and downloaded and installed it into /Library/Extension/ then fixed permission with Kext Utility.

Rebooted and see  WhateverGreen.kext is loaded. still no audio through HDMI.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to report that audio after sleep is broken for me on the last two betas on ID 11 (10.14.4 beta 3 and 4). It was last known working on 10.14.3.

Here are my details:

  1. Mobo: Z370 Aorus Gaming Ultra 2.0-OP
  2. Codec: ALC1220
  3. IDs:
    • 1, 2, 3: Popping audio. Technically 1 is the one for my mobo.
    • 5, 11: Audio broken after sleep (I was using 11 and it broke on the betas above).
    • 7: Works even on the latest betas.

Thank you so much for your contributions, Vit! (Not pinging because not sure if it's welcome!) You're what's made hackintoshing easy/possible.

In general, I've heard reports of popping audio with ALC1220.

Hi !

Excuse me first for my bad english...

My audio system is a Realtek ALC3236, and with a AppleHDA patched i have sound by the internal speakers of my laptop (ASUS R510LC) but not by the jack (sound crackles and is very weak).

I should like to try the AppleALC method, but unfortunately my chipset is not supported...

Could you help me please ?

Thanks ;-)

After reading different posts, I interest me about audio layout and the necessity to have DSDT and config.plist in coherence (I didn't understood yet..., I'm a noob :-| )

Since, after modification of my config.list (the easier to edit), my sound is well better through my jack..., not yet very powerful but more more clear :-)

However, I don't understand how my speakers ran before, with incoherent values in the two files ????

Never mind, i think I'll keep my actual config with a functional AppleHDA.

Thanks to the community who supply us in theses hard topics...

Go on !  ;-)

Used those two files, set layout to 22 and rebooted, attached is the IOReg output. Also, no worries about taking a few days, you're the one helping me! Thanks again!

I can see audio is working now...

I see "Internal Speakers" in the output tab but don't hear any sound coming out of my laptop speakers. When I go to the Input tab, and choose "Internal Microphone" and I talk, I see the activity bar moving.

Your IOREG show your audio is working,,
1. Try to completly shutdown your notebook and turn on again to macOS or,
2. Remove CodecCommander.kext if you used it

Hi,

I've solved my pb by installing CodecCommander.kext of Rehabman (thanks), in L/E like recommended, and after editing the info.plist file...

Thanks ;-)

I did not have CodecCommander.kext so I tried adding it and now audio works perfectly! Nice and loud and clear! Thanks for all of your help!

Then it's mean your problem is about kextcache

I tried removing it and rebuilding the kextcache but it doesn't work without CodecCommander. It just shows the output device but there is no sound. As soon as I add CodecCommander it works again.

I don't think so. CodecCommander with Default Profile doesn't have ability to update custom command. There is no profile for ALC299 except you used custom SSDT for CodecCommander. Did you use DSDT/SSDT???

I'm not using any DSDT or SSDT for Audio, at least that I could find. I have attached my clover folder, maybe you can see something I'm missing.
