Try this you should get output device named as,
1. Internal Speaker (Bass Speaker)
2. LineOut (Tweets speaker).

Check it, and post the result

AppleALC.kext.zip

In headphones I hear more bass while internal speakers much less perhaps only medium and tweets, also does not perform the automatic switch between speakers and headphones ... this with last appleALC posted

Nothing changed.

Revert back to your previous ones,, your codec and AlexAMD is same ALC256 but different layoutID. Both of you make me confuse.

Take another day,,, Alex make fast response,, so i will help him first

Hi Andres,

I would like to activate the subwoofer on Lenovo y700 (ALC233)

I followed the guide and create codec_dump.txt - verbs.txt - codec_dump_dec.txt.svg

I used PinConfigurator and found the Line-out(nod17) for subwoofer(I hope)

This is the pathmap result;

Complex Node          Audio mixer     Input/Output       Decimal

Internal Speaker      0x14                              0x0C                 0x02            20  - 12 - 2     working

Headphone              0x21                              0x0D                 0x03           33  -  13  - 3   working

Internal Mic              0x12                              0x23                 0x08           8 - 35 - 18      working

External mic             0x19                              0x22                 0x09           9 - 34 -  25     working

Subwoofer               0x17                              0x0D                 0x03           23 - 13 - 3       =(

After I tried to modifie platforms14.xml and layout14.xml in Resources/ALC235 folder and rebuild but didn't work.

Could you please help me

Help with AppleALC and IDT92HD73E

Hello dear friends :) I've installed High Sierra/Mojave in my Hackintosh but I couldn't get any sound with my onboard codec :(

http://temposemi.com/products/pclaptop-hd/92hd73e/

I also have a Sound Blaster Z but after a lot of search, I must accept it doesn't work in macOS :(

Can you help me with my onboard sound (IDT), I mean it appears ""Headphons, SPDIF, Microphone"", but I get no sound :(

I re-installed Windows on the Laptop because I wanted to gather some other data (mostly CPU FrequencyVectors) but also to test the headset jack in Windows (it's the only thing we haven't tested for functionality yet). Is there anything I can do to get more data you could need?

I'll reinstall macOS later and test the above. I got all my configs, EFI, etc. so it will be the same system :)

The headset jack is perfectly fine in Windows. I only see a single input and output device in Windows but each device has two connectors (eg. analog back for internal speakers and analog front for the headset jack) so it switches internally. Attached all the info I could gather, hope it helps!

Can you put this SSDT-CX8200.aml to your Clover/ACPI/Patched,, then put CodecCommander.kext in Library/Extensions (NOT System/Library/Extensions). Then rebuilt kextcache and reboot. then check your external mic

I'll try this now. Thank you!

Did you try layout 11, 12,13,15, 16 or 17?? How about the result?

Try this config.plist Reboot and post the result

I have tested new config.plist on Mojave and High Sierra but still no Hardware audio is detected. The only way I could get sound previously is when vendor+codec name was displayed in Intel FB-patcher, then I simply selected speakers in Play sound effect through in audio settings. Audio worked then on both systems. Now is gone and can't get it back. I even tried reset audio in BIOS but it didn't help.
