Different file with different locations, but it'about change 7 to 5 1. Edit info.plist of pinconfig,, there is many codec pinconfig and layout in there,, select yours,, and change from 7 to 5 for layouid section 2. Change info.plist inside codec name folder,, change path for layout and xml file from layout5.xml to layout7.xml and platform7.xml to platform5.xml and change ID from 7 to 5,, 3. Rename Layout5.xml and platform7.xml toLayout5.xml and platform5.xml You know,, i am not expert in english, so it will be hard for me to explain the detail with english language Sent from my Mi Note 2 using Tapatalk 6 minutes ago, luky35 said: My High Definition (HD) Audio, Realtek ALC286 card, and I do not manage to work. I don't see VoodooHDA.kext in EFI/CLOVER/Kexts/Other. Where did you put VoodooHDA.kext???? Edited December 2, 2018 by Andres ZeroCross

REmove your old DSDT.aml in CLOVER/ACPI/Patched There is something wrong with the attached DSDT.aml. The system will not boot if I put it in CLOVER/ACPI/patched. Also, I cannot open it with MaciASL: I should mention that I did get working audio without this new DSDT and without making any changes on one of my previous boots, so the problem appears to be sporadic. When the audio worked, the only codecs shown in DPCIManager were the IDT 92HD73C1 and the NVidia HDMI. There was no NULL Codec - that appears to be the problem that causes AppleHDA.kext to exit. It's your dsdt, not new one. It's only change about _DSM Properties for HDEF. Not Boot because missing dependency with oem ssdt, or wrong config.plist configuration. Before of this, you boot succesfully with this dsdt, so it mean you make "change" to your system config.plist and maybe patched.Sent from my Mi Note 2 using Tapatalk

No changes to anything except that I installed the DSDT attached to your post. I put back the previous DSDT (the one you provided previously) and the system boots just fine. I can open the DSDT (the one that works) with MaciASL, but not the one you provided today.

DSDT.aml is from this , you uploaded by yourself. Just usethis DSDT.aml again,, and check your system can boot or not No change then it will boot,, Many thing can cause acpi can't boot. Like I said, the DSDT.aml that you provided previously works just fine to boot the system, but no audio. You provided another DSDT.aml today which does not work; system wont boot with it. 2 minutes ago, najeeb_anwer said: I'm confused about what you want me to do. Do me a favor and download the DSDT that you posted 2 hours ago and see if you can open it with MaciASL; I think it is corrupted.
