nnvt
Hi! My laptop has the ALC668 codec and it works pretty well but the sound just randomly dies when I'm listening to music via chrome (with headphones), the audio starts to stutter pretty badly and then just goes away entirely... unplugging and plugging the headphones back in fixes it but it's still rather annoying... EDIT: keeping the music playing while it dies destroys everything, unplugging and plugging the headphones back in will no longer fix the problem, the speakers however seem to work absolutely fine and immediately take over if the headphones are unplugged.. Laptop is the Asus N551VW Codec is Reaktek ALC668 Layout is set to 3 Any ideas?

vit9696
Alright, I added 1.0.13 release Hopefully most 10.12 issues are now gone. Note that layouts 1-3 are now removed from ALC1150 to reduce kext size. Use 5, 7, or 11.
MacPeet
@vandroiy2012 Report: I changed LayoutID11 and have tested. In the beginning was somewhat unstable, some reboots. Now it works more stable. (Tested with DP3 and DP4) You have inserted some patches. Are these Intel HDMI patches?

vandroiy2012
@vandroiy2012 Are these Intel HDMI patches? It's not HDMI audio patches. This patches prevents codec sleep to avoid clicking sounds in the beginning of playback. With patches codec works like on MacPro. Never sleeps.
sebinouse
I'm back with my LayoutID=12 issue ... I rebuilt everything from scratch and once again no luck with ID=12 (no platform detected) with everything OK when I try ID=1 !!! Every piece of advise is welcome (files are available here)
al6042
I just saw in your Ressource Folder on Github, that the layout11.xml.zlib is missing for ALC1150: A user I know just tried the new kext on his GA-Z97-D3H, which worked fine with ID 1 and AppleALC 1.0.12. Where is the connection between old ID 1,2 and 3 to new ID 5, 7 and 11? Somethings like: 1 = 5 2 = 7 3 = 11 ? We already tried ID 5 and 7, but it didn't work... While checking the available ID Options, I saw the layout-file is missing...
