Hello vit9696,

Thank you for your work.
Can you add this codec in the new official version (for example AD1984A Dell Optiplex 780/760)?

I tested version 1.0.13, i have recompiled and works well with macOS Sierra DP3 only -alcbeta!  :thumbsup_anim:

I was about to request them the same thing, this AppleHDA also works with the Dell Precision T3500 ( X58 chipset )

What not known, but is so great if it works then.

flag with Sierra -alcbeta (10.11 ?)
Test for you (Attention! This is not an official version from author. Only for AD1984A tests.):

Hi!

My laptop has the ALC668 codec and it works pretty well but the sound just randomly dies when I'm listening to music via chrome (with headphones), the audio starts to stutter pretty badly and then just goes away entirely... unplugging and plugging the headphones back in fixes it but it's still rather annoying...

EDIT: keeping the music playing while it dies destroys everything, unplugging and plugging the headphones back in will no longer fix the problem, the speakers however seem to work absolutely fine and immediately take over if the headphones are unplugged..

Laptop is the Asus N551VW

Codec is Reaktek ALC668

Layout is set to 3

Any ideas?

Done. Layout-id 11.

It would be nice if you provide revision-id for this codec :)

Hello MacPeet.

I saw you fixed external mic in other forum or insanelymac.

Can you fixed external Conexant codec?

I tried test to fix external through to change layout,platform. Only work Linein MuteGPIO=0 in Layout.

Use Rehabman's CodecCommander and report back

Sorry, I think its this one.

Sorry for the delay, here's your test file, use layout 12

Also @vandroiy2012 I saw this typo in Mirone's CX20757 file ( see pic )

AppleALC_CX20757_BSpider94.zip

I have tried the file with layout 12 and 3.

Did not work, even sound stopped working.

@vandroiy2012

Report:

I changed LayoutID11 and have tested. In the beginning was somewhat unstable, some reboots. Now it works more stable. (Tested with DP3 and DP4)

You have inserted some patches.

I just saw in your Ressource Folder on Github, that the layout11.xml.zlib is missing for ALC1150:

post-638272-0-50419900-1470260171_thumb.jpg

A user I know just tried the new kext on his GA-Z97-D3H, which worked fine with ID 1 and AppleALC 1.0.12.

Where is the connection between old ID 1,2 and 3 to new ID 5, 7 and 11?

Somethings like:

1 = 5

2 = 7

3 = 11

?

We already tried ID 5 and 7, but it didn't work...

While checking the available ID Options, I saw the layout-file is missing...
