spakk
Hey guys. Running 10.11.4 build 15E65 AMD Phenom II X4 955 Biostar TA890FXE Took this picture with the bronya 10.11.2 r2 kernel I did the USBFix V3. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch. Info : use USB-Fix_V3 for El Capitan and GenericUSBXHCI.kext first delete these drives from System/Library/Extensions/ ==> IOUSBFamily.kext, IOUSBMAssStorageDriver.kext, IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext, pmtelemetry.kext, AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext, AppleTyMCEDriver.kext, install GenericUSBXHCI.kext (current vers.) in to /Extra/Extensions/ and then install the USB-FIX_V3 package, repair the permissions and renew the Cache
miloproelo
Hey guys, I can't find Shane's video tutorial on installing el capitan, could some one please post me a link? Also I'd like to ask what bootloader should I use (as far as I know my MB only supports Legacy BIOS). Is there a kernel for 10.11.4 or do I have to download older version of OSX? If so, how?. Sorry for the noob questions I hope you understand EDIT: I managed to create the installation disk but I have some sort of infinite loop with USB. EDIT: I downloaded Extras pack from this thread and now I'm able to see apple logo and something loading, but after loading to about 50% it changed to white square and nothing happens. I think you need Spakk USB fix V3 like it was for me, and i don't know why, for me it works only when i apply the fix through Kext wizard, not manually copying the kext into S/L/E...i solved this in my 10.11.4 update too look at this for USB fix http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/521-usb-fix-for-el-capitan/ Here the tutorial for usb installer http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/310098-el-capitan-install-preparation/?p=2201380 I hope it will help you

ProjectSynergy
So i've just got around to installing OS X El Capitan on a VM. I have an AMD FX 4100 CPU on my VM PC, and was running OS X 10.10.5 Successfully with no issues at all. Upon starting the install for OS X El Capitan 10.11.0 I got greeted with this. https://i.gyazo.com/42a8e89398dd31e482b7a4e3fa8b54a6.png Anyone know how I could fix it? I'm guessing I have to set my Mac OS X VM back up and restore everything. But I really wanna run El Capitan. Lol Thanks guys
