Enigm4 Posted February 13, 2016 Share Posted February 13, 2016 Hi, I have Yosemite 10.10.5 installed on a FX 6300. In "About this Mac" tab it shows Unknown. I know that I can easily fix this by injecting CPU type in Clover, but I couldn't find anywhere the list of intel CPU id's. I think I'd need some 6 core Xeon id. You should use an appropriate kernel for FX CPUs, then the CPU is displayed correctly!! use 10.10.5_SSEPlus_V2 or V3 or bronya's kernel for FX CPus Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
