Allan
Marco Trevisan, one of Ubuntu Kylin's developers, has bringing a great functionality for Ubuntu. Maybe we can move the "Launch bar" from the left of the screen to the bottom. We all know that the ability to modify the theme of Ubuntu (Unity) is limited, even if we completely change windows themes and icons, the launch bar is always the same. You can see more about his project here: https://code.launchpad.net/~feng-kylin/unity/unityshell-rotated-kylin/+merge/281182 Let's wait and see.
