Whitty Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 hey guys i am new so dont flame me to badly lol but heres the poop i downloaded and went to install Jas 10.4.7 and i install the patch for my processor SSE3 on a intel D830 i see that it isn't listed however the 820 is and mine is the same processor basically so i assumed it would work did i assume wrong? what happens is it goes through the install then when i click to restart the progress wheel comes up and it just does nothin that stupid wheel just spins and spins and spins i have already lost my HDD data twice so i figured id ask for help b4 i messed it up a 3rd time Thanks So much Chris Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31012-jas-1047-install-problem/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
joe75 Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 Dose it completely install and just spin at the end before mac wants to restart, if so then just hold the power button and hard reset. dancemc87 Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 i had the same problem: install process with dvd "JaS 10.4.7" worked, but the boot process didnt go on - just saying "mac osx is starting", but didnt do anything.´ does anyone know how to solve it??
