analogo
Hello.. finally I want to have OS X, but on a power machine. Therefore, I built a current dual XEON system. Now my problem.. The system lags/freezes frequently, especially after starting/ending OS X or programs and using programs. Only the mouse works then. Therefore, it is impossible to use a program like Ableton Live or Bitwig Studio. OS X itself works almost smoothly. The network (Intel I210) does not work yet. Audio too, which is not bad, because I have connected an audio interface. Over the past weeks I tried extremely much, unfortunately without success. It would be great, if anybody can help me. Let me know what else I can try .. Many Thanks! Attached are a few files, such as the config.plist, an IORegistryExplorer v2.1 file, an OS X v10.11 Console log file and unpatched DSDT+SSDTs (generated with Clover).. maleorderbride
This is with all 24 cores/48 threads working? Did you need to use any other kexts than what you list? Perhaps a rollback of anything? Have you tried to get native power management working? There are some guides on here like this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309717-haswell-e-5820k-5930k-installation-guide-with-full-speedstep-working/
analogo
@maleorderbride Yes, all 24 cores / 48 threads are working. I´m using only the shown kexts, but the system works even without the VoodooTSCSync.kext. A rollback? Do you know, how to solve the problem? Power management is working, I think, but don´t know, how to patch the DSDT and SSDT files.. Thank you for the tips..
jonisign
Wow, this is awesome that you got this to boot. I can't get 10.11 to boot with even a single Xeon E5 V3. Hang ups at PCI Configuration Begin.

analogo
@jonisign For installation I had to use nv_disable=1 and after installation nvda_drv=1. Hmm...no I do not. I210 is supported with vanilla (check the plugins for IONetworkingFamily.kext), perhaps you can add your deviceID in there and still get it to load. Or use Clover to patch a different line to your DeviceID. (probably better) Otherwise add a PCI-e card for WiFi or Ethernet?

I have been trying to install El Capitan on an Asrock X99E-itx/ac + Xeon E5-2620v3 with no success.... I haven't been able to get either the installer or the upgrader to boot. I'm really curious as to what's going on with the E5 V3 Xeons... it seems like some have no issue at all and others fly right by the PCI Configuration Begin issue with no way to resolve. =)(=
Why are you using NullCPUPowerManagement.kext? When you use Clover it is not needed, you can set AsusAICPUPM to true, or maybe you don't have to do anything, on my Z170 Hero MSR is not locked so I did not have to do it. EmuVariableUefi-64.efi - Are you sure you need this? Maybe nvram works fine for you and this file is not needed.OsxLowMemFixDrv-64.efi - Do not use this together with AptioFix, use only Aptio.
