Fixed ;)

Here is Andy's kernel:

AVr1.zip

I tested this kernel on Phenom 2 and Textwrangler still crashing.

It's time for me to take a break.  If someone could take over in the mean time, I would appreciate it.

PC exploded? :hysterical:

Yeah, my PC has been acting strange since Apple releases El Capo's source codes.

Calling FX testers,

Attached is the AMD 10.11.0 kernel for FX CPUs.  I don't know if the FX kernel works since I don't have access to FX CPU, thus, making the FX kernel work is like shooting in the dark.

attachicon.gif10110FxR1.zip

works on phenom , il y a moins de bug Appli mais plus de problème graphiques

thanks :)

Yeah... Need a new core 2 duo or quad.

Micky1979s-MBP:~ Micky1979$ uname -a
Darwin Micky1979s-MBP.station 15.0.0 Darwin Kernel Version 15.0.0: Sun Dec 13 18:31:56 CET 2015; Micky1979:xnu-3247.1.106/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64
Micky1979s-MBP:~ Micky1979$

:thumbsup_anim:

can you post the "uname -a" result?

Shaneees-Pro:~ shaneee$ uname -a
Darwin Shaneees-Pro 15.0.0 Darwin Kernel Version 15.0.0: Sun Dec 13 18:31:56 CET 2015; Micky1979:xnu-3247.1.106/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

:thumbsup_anim:

My kernel created 10 december .

Hi Bronya :) ,

but to make appear:

root:xnu-3247.1.106/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

instead of:

Micky1979:xnu-3247.1.106/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

we need to build the kernel as root user? ie login into root account?

AMDCore:~ polyzargone$ uname -a

Guys (for who kernel I built is working, offcourse) would you  like to test a new version that is able to run the old Extensions.mkext ..to boot fast?

..to see if work..

Sure :D !

So the purpose would be : build an /Extra/Extensions.mkext that contains all extra kexts to make boot faster ? Reminds me the days back in Snow Leopard :hysterical::D !

But what if we don't put our kexts in Extra/Extensions but in S/L/E instead. It would be useless wouldn't it ?

I'm not sure about this but I remember  having some troubles with some kexts not loading when put in E/E…
