Furthermore, we don't have enough elements to be sure about a Clover failure, right now You are correct. My comment was taken way out of context. I meant that I was using Clover, Pike was using his own Revoboot. He was unable to come to any conclusions in our very brief (unfinished) email conversation based on the fact it wasn't the bootloader he was using. I surely didn't mean to ruffle any feathers, offend anyone or "place blame" - only trying to weed thru different variables....
giacomoleopardo
There must be a misunderstanding. No blames, here. That's what I'm talking about: we can't blame clover, at least not yet. Pike's doubt it's just a supposition, and I trust the man. But still, until I'm not sure, I won't point any finger.

I re-read (and then edited) my post above, which did appear to be blatantly pointing fingers - absolutely was not my intention. I edited it to reflect what I was actually trying to communicate. No blame here either!! Let's move on, shall we? We should take this over to your post Gia...
AsusFreak
^^^ Agree.... I not even certain what this "It is a problem with Clover it seems." relates to. All I've seen in weeks of post claiming XCPM for unsupported processors and have yet seen anyone make it work. nmano claims it works with his patched kernel but it didn't work for me, and he's still using null so that's questionable. Great respect for Pike yet he gave the system away, have any of us downgraded because we had too much power? Just sayin... Yep, OT here...
Fljagd
EDIT: One last question for any one of you... What board ID/Freq Vec should I be using for the 6900K? SMBIOS is tied to the motherboard, not the CPU. Must be started with clover without SMBios Set Clover attributed the following SMBios your motherboard For example for my X99-A is known for an iMac 14.2 So with freqVectorsEdit I inject iMac 14.2

At first glance it looks like XCPM is loading fine: But I don't understand X86PlatformPlugin loading but source unknown. At idle it no longer drops to 12 and bounces around at cpu default clock. At load it never maxes cpu. I'd like to figure this out, on the other hand I can load Null and idle @12 and max @42 so it's not a crisis... Thanks for the help, any ideas please send my way... I will be using PB vs. DP, that being said... SammlerG: I have another favor to ask...
