First patch is incomplete, you are missing "6C" at the end (Find HEX).

And where is your AppleAHCIPort patch?

Edit: Maybe i missed something regarding AHCIPort, didn't follow through the whole problem... :blush:

Yes. Replace.

But you should use a tool such as Kext Wizard to install any kext. That said, that shouldn't be an issue if you do it that way and if you run the script.

What I have been doing is copying the kext to the 10.11 folder and running the kext wizard and loading the kext from the 10.11 folder and clicking install.

Yes, the message is normal. You're not supposed to install a kext that way that's why I said you should use Kext Wizard. Anyway, this is just a warning and it will work as long as you run the script (which will fix permissions and rebuild kernel cache).

Thats probably the problem....I still do not understand. I load the kext wizard and browse to the location of the applehda.kext file. I then click install and it says successful....I'm not sure how to do it different. It's a wonder my first bill works right

Well, obviously what you're trying to achieve makes no sense. Look again your own screenshot :

The Kext Wizard window shouldn't display the path /System/Library/Extensions as the source of the kext you want to install especially when the destination is /System/Library/Extensions :shock: !

This is just a matter of logic .
