THEOLDSHARK
Well, this is my config.plist at the moment; it works with El Capitan 10.11.5 and macOS Sierra DP1 ... I think it supports the Nvidia Quadro 2000 quite well. I use also patched DSDT and SSDT, stepping and sleep seem to be OK (not sure about turbo boost) but still some usual ;-) minor USB issues. config.plist.zip
Blaggah
I was under the impression that MacOs Sierra didn't need any special config.plist to be able to boot but I made my USB installer still night and I keep getting kernel panic. I used the same efi folder for El Capitan. The only thing I did was copy all the kexts from 10.11 folder to the other folder. I'll give it a twirl again later tonight. Anyone could chime in, let me know.
THEOLDSHARK
Hi Blaggah, this is my EFI Folder booting El Capitan as well as DP1. Credit and thanks for patched DSDT goes to Rockey12 for the DSDT in post #512 which worked on my machine. I tried to fix mine for myself, but always got errors and kernel panics ... :-( I think there may be still some optimizations necessary, but boot is boot ... kif.007
THEOLDSHARK thank you for your EFI file I see you for the graphic acceleration functions, so tomorrow I will try to use your file to see if it works for me. I also have a GEFORCE Quadro 2000 under the hand (in case), but I'd like it to work with GTX 960, I will do tests and I will tell you. Thanks again

Thanks THEOLDSHARK, i'll give it a try again and report back. --- So i just tried your efi folder for and it got further this time and it looked promising for a while but ended up KP in the end and restarted. My Z400 also boots this configuration without SSDT and NullCPUPowerManagement in 10.11 and 10.12 folder of clover.
Blaggah
I literally just left the PC now im up in my room on P690. I did use clover_v2.3k_r3599 to make it. I removed the ssdt because I know we have different CPUs.
tyler2016
Rokey, I try both file and they all stop at apple logo loading. Inside the config.plist ATI connectors data has 3 same copy and I remove other two but still won't work.

It's strange, I had no troubles in booting into Sierra except PM and USB issues ... Did you update Bios (3.60)? Maybe anyone else can help? amb5014
I seem to be experiencing higher than normal GPU temperatures (85C-100C) when doing nothing that is graphics intensive on my Z400 running El Capitan 10.11.5 with a Quadro 4000. I am using the Clover boot loader. At boot I get a CPU panic and clover install fails. Can you upload a working Clover EFI.zip folder so I can get my HP z800 installed? Also what post install procedure did you use? Which kexts do I need to install? Are you able to get Sleep/wake to work? -Thanks. Our HP Z400.s. are the same with the exception of the video cards. Those DSDT,s. work fine for me so I am assuming that having a different card might be why you had no luck.. There again your config.plist may be somewhat different. Hello, I have an HP z400 with Hex core Xeon and an Nvidia GT610 graphics card. I have created an El Capitan install USB drive however it fails in the install process. Can you upload a working Clover EFI.zip folder so I can get my HP z400 installed ? Are you able to get Sleep/wake to work? Also what post install procedures do I need to follow? What kexts do I need to install? Are you able to get Sleep/wake to work? - Thanks

MacPeet
@tyler2016 incorrect settings? incorrect framebuffer? @Rockey12 You need not change the DSDT when the HD 5770 performs well. The data are for information purposes only. if then here, I think: Device (SLT2) { Name (_ADR, Zero) // _ADR: Address Name (_SUN, 0x02) // _SUN: Slot User Number Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x0C) { "@0,name", Buffer (0x0B) { "ATY,Vervet" }, //Your other items "@1,name", Buffer (0x0B) { "ATY,Vervet" }, //Your other items "@2,name", Buffer (0x0B) { "ATY,Vervet" }, //Your other items "@3,name", Buffer (0x0B) { "ATY,Vervet" }, //Your other items "model", Buffer (0x13) { "ATI Radeon HD 5770" }, "hda-gfx", Buffer (0x0A) { "onboard-1" } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } Device (HDAU) { Name (_ADR, One) Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x02) { "hda-gfx", Buffer (0x0A) { "onboard-1" } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } }
