WaldMeister
Certainly the users are pretty buggy too. Umm its been released for how long? This is normal for early adoption, i will not install it until 10.11.2 or .3 at the earliest. 1 Thing i learned about Service Desk work, it's never the user's fault! (Let them think that ) 10.11.1 beta runs fine here, only had trouble installing because of kext injection, outdated Clover version. My HD4600 script still works for mobile versions using ID 0416, attached. My nvram is flooded though: p70:~ Lex$ nvram -p efi-apple-payload0 <array><dict><key>IOMatch</key><dict><key>IOProviderClass</key><string>IOMedia</string><key>IOPropertyMatch</key><dict><key>UUID</key><string>6DD36EF2-16F9-4C3E-B95F-0BA03672FC2F</string></dict></dict><key>BLLastBSDName</key><string>disk0s1</string></dict><dict><key>IOEFIDevicePathType</key><string>MediaFilePath</string><key>Path</key><string>\EFI\APPLE\UPDATERS\SMC\Mac-2BD1B31983FE1663.smc</string></dict></array>%00 boot-args efi-apple-payload2 <array><dict><key>IOMatch</key><dict><key>IOProviderClass</key><string>IOMedia</string><key>IOPropertyMatch</key><dict><key>UUID</key><string>6DD36EF2-16F9-4C3E-B95F-0BA03672FC2F</string></dict></dict><key>BLLastBSDName</key><string>disk0s1</string></dict><dict><key>IOEFIDevicePathType</key><string>MediaFilePath</string><key>Path</key><string>\EFI\APPLE\UPDATERS\SMC\flasher_update.smc</string></dict></array>%00 efi-boot-device <array><dict><key>IOMatch</key><dict><key>IOProviderClass</key><string>IOMedia</string><key>IOPropertyMatch</key><dict><key>UUID</key><string>89405C34-F6F2-4528-B423-78AF12238763</string></dict></dict></dict></array> SystemAudioVolume - efi-apple-payload1 <array><dict><key>IOMatch</key><dict><key>IOProviderClass</key><string>IOMedia</string><key>IOPropertyMatch</key><dict><key>UUID</key><string>6DD36EF2-16F9-4C3E-B95F-0BA03672FC2F</string></dict></dict><key>BLLastBSDName</key><string>disk0s1</string></dict><dict><key>IOEFIDevicePathType</key><string>MediaFilePath</string><key>Path</key><string>\EFI\APPLE\UPDATERS\SMC\flasher_base.smc</string></dict></array>%00 security-mode none prev-lang:kbd nl:26 SystemAudioVolumeDB %e3 efi-apple-payload2-data %02%01%0c%00%d0A%03%0a%00%00%00%00%01%01%06%00%02%1f%03%12%0a%00%04%00%00%00%00%00%04%01*%00%01%00%00%00(%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00@%06%00%00%00%00%00%f2n%d3m%f9%16>L%b9_%0b%a06r%fc/%02%02%04%04Z%00\%00E%00F%00I%00\%00A%00P%00P%00L%00E%00\%00U%00P%00D%00A%00T%00E%00R%00S%00\%00S%00M%00C%00\%00f%00l%00a%00s%00h%00e%00r%00_%00u%00p%00d%00a%00t%00e%00.%00s%00m%00c%00%00%00%7f%ff%04%00 efi-apple-payload3 <array><dict><key>IOMatch</key><dict><key>IOProviderClass</key><string>IOMedia</string><key>IOPropertyMatch</key><dict><key>UUID</key><string>6DD36EF2-16F9-4C3E-B95F-0BA03672FC2F</string></dict></dict><key>BLLastBSDName</key><string>disk0s1</string></dict><dict><key>IOEFIDevicePathType</key><string>MediaFilePath</string><key>Path</key><string>\EFI\APPLE\UPDATERS\SMC\Mac-2BD1B31983FE1663.epm</string></dict></array>%00 efi-apple-payload0-data %02%01%0c%00%d0A%03%0a%00%00%00%00%01%01%06%00%02%1f%03%12%0a%00%04%00%00%00%00%00%04%01*%00%01%00%00%00(%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00@%06%00%00%00%00%00%f2n%d3m%f9%16>L%b9_%0b%a06r%fc/%02%02%04%04f%00\%00E%00F%00I%00\%00A%00P%00P%00L%00E%00\%00U%00P%00D%00A%00T%00E%00R%00S%00\%00S%00M%00C%00\%00M%00a%00c%00-%002%00B%00D%001%00B%003%001%009%008%003%00F%00E%001%006%006%003%00.%00s%00m%00c%00%00%00%7f%ff%04%00 fmm-computer-name P70 efi-boot-device-data %02%01%0c%00%d0A%03%0a%00%00%00%00%01%01%06%00%02%1f%03%12%0a%00%04%00%00%00%00%00%04%01*%00%02%00%00%00(@%06%00%00%00%00%00p%f9o%11%00%00%00%004\@%89%f2%f6(E%b4#x%af%12#%87c%02%02%7f%ff%04%00 csr-active-config g%00%00%00 backlight-level %d8%0a efi-apple-payload3-data %02%01%0c%00%d0A%03%0a%00%00%00%00%01%01%06%00%02%1f%03%12%0a%00%04%00%00%00%00%00%04%01*%00%01%00%00%00(%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00@%06%00%00%00%00%00%f2n%d3m%f9%16>L%b9_%0b%a06r%fc/%02%02%04%04f%00\%00E%00F%00I%00\%00A%00P%00P%00L%00E%00\%00U%00P%00D%00A%00T%00E%00R%00S%00\%00S%00M%00C%00\%00M%00a%00c%00-%002%00B%00D%001%00B%003%001%009%008%003%00F%00E%001%006%006%003%00.%00e%00p%00m%00%00%00%7f%ff%04%00 efi-apple-payload1-data %02%01%0c%00%d0A%03%0a%00%00%00%00%01%01%06%00%02%1f%03%12%0a%00%04%00%00%00%00%00%04%01*%00%01%00%00%00(%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00@%06%00%00%00%00%00%f2n%d3m%f9%16>L%b9_%0b%a06r%fc/%02%02%04%04V%00\%00E%00F%00I%00\%00A%00P%00P%00L%00E%00\%00U%00P%00D%00A%00T%00E%00R%00S%00\%00S%00M%00C%00\%00f%00l%00a%00s%00h%00e%00r%00_%00b%00a%00s%00e%00.%00s%00m%00c%00%00%00%7f%ff%04%00 p70:~ Lex$ Graphics.sh.zip
os X nOOb
All works! used kexts for audio and ethernet ( as always) Boot with "rootless=0" bootflag Hi, Can you please tell me where do you find kexts for your audio card. This is the first time I`m running OS X on my PC. I was read every topic I can find about new OS X El Capitan and manage to install it but I`m failed with audio. My Saphire HD5870 works fine and also all USB ports, network Realtek 8111E (my TP Link TL-WN722N doesn`t work), and even Logitech C270 HD720p web camera works like a charm. For lan network I used RealtekRTL81xx-0_0_90.pkg and it works excellent. I tried a deferent versions of Multi.Beast and clovers but only i got is a crash of OS X. After 4 installation of El Capitan I`m done trying by myself and need help. My configuration is: MOBO: MSI H61M-P31 (G3) - audio by Realtek ALC887, Ethernet by Realtek 8111E. CPU: Intel i5-2500k RAM: 8GB DDR3 Kingstone HDD1: 64GB SSD Kingstone HDD2: 2TB Seagate PSU: 850W Chieftek modular Monitor: 27" Dell S2740L Info for audio: Chipset integrated by Realtek ALC887, Flexible 8-channel audio with jack sensing, Compliant with Azalia 1.0 Spec. Help please... I can't live without sound

Sry for bothering you on this topic, but I can`t find a proper solution that works for me. I know I`m doing something wrong. Thanks in advance. RehabMan
Is it safe to update to the newly released 10.11.1 from a working 10.11 installation? If you depend on KernelPm=true, you will need Clover v3292 or later.
xenophon
If you depend on KernelPm=true, you will need Clover v3292 or later. A snippet of wisdom! Before it's washed away in the thread, can you please elaborate: who, specifically, "depends on KernelPM=true"?
RehabMan
A snippet of wisdom! Before it's washed away in the thread, can you please elaborate: who, specifically, "depends on KernelPM=true"? Well, it is something you should already know... KernelPm=true is required for hardware with Haswell CPU (or later), where CPU MSR 0xE2 locked by BIOS. Also required for Ivy CPUs where XCPM is forced with kernel flag -xcpm.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. It is now settled. To be entirely honest, I've been trying to figure out Haswell power management for almost a year, and still don't feel comfortable with the multitude of flags, SSDTs, tables dropping, BIOS settings, and the rest. The MSR locking doesn't apply to Gigabyte mobos, I guess, so I missed that... On a side note, do you have any clue as to why Z97 systems crash upon wake from extended sleep? (I have tried everything, to no avail, and can't get more than a couple of days of uptime -)* *sorry for hijacking the thread; I won't be offended if you decide to ignore this question... I have no Z97 hardware. Perhaps you neglected to disable hibernation. Also, without native CPU PM, sleep is questionable anyway. I don't see native PM as something that is optional. vandebergz
Dude prepare to repalce the beachball icon in OP. It got revised into a pretty much flat one. Already installed in onto my Macbook, many big bugs but performance is better than Yosemite. For hacks, many ppl from my country installed it ( mostly laptop users ). Need to use Rootless=0 boot args to get past the security config and for post installation, use AppleHDA from Yosemite for Audio ( native El AppleHDA won't cut it ), and if you need bluetooth, change the kext's version to 999, it should work what kext that needs its version changed? I lost bluetooth after updating

arsradu
is there a way to have kexts loaded kexts, kexts installed with kext wizard but not loaded after reboot i set RtVariables on clover kexts are in S/L/E but not loaded please help...... How did you add those kexts in S/L/E? By the way, you don't need to touch L/E or S/L/E. If you're using Clover, just put your kexts in Clover/kexts/10.10 or 10.11 and let Clover inject them on startup. However, if you really want to use those kexts in L/E or S/L/E (although I honestly don't know why would you want that), you can simply copy them using this command: sudo cp -R -v /path-to-kext/YOURKext.kext/ /Library/Extensions/YOURKext.kext That should also set the proper permissions. Also, make sure the system is allowed to load unsigned kexts. If everything is ok in terms of permissions and SIP, then it might be the kext itself that's not working anymore. I had this issue with one of my kexts. Everything was ok in terms of permissions, but the kext itself was not ok and it was discarded on startup. So keep that in mind, as well. Also, please, don't make double posts. Try to use the Edit function instead.
