TheTourist
What slide values did you use? Try slide=8 or 10 or 100 slide=0 Tried different values include 8, 10 and 100. Issue only with 10.11 GM. Earlier Public beta installer booted with OsxAptioFixDrv without problems. Currently i can boot current installation of 10.10 with OsxAptioFixDrv (not OsxAptioFix2Drv). Mirone
Hello! Trying to update to 10.11 GM. But can't boot into installer with error: OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for OS X Install Data\boot.efi OsxAptioFixDrv: Error - requested memory exceeds our allocated relocation block Requested mem: 5695000 - AAF8FFF, Pages: 5464, Size: 5464000 Reloc block: B355D000 - BC9A7FFF, Pages: 944B, Size: 944B000 I tried to boot in safe mode, without caches. csouers
I was able to get my Z87 build to boot to the installer with OsxAptioFix2Drv. The only boot argument, aside from verbose, was darkwake=8 which is only for waking from sleep issues (hence, not related to booting at all). Only kexts injected were FakeSMC and RealtekRTL8111. May do an install in a few weeks or when they release 10.11.1. So far so good on my MBP 2010, if anyone's wondering. Seems solid, though Disk Utility is a damn disaster. How i can turn off Nvidia card before running installer? Because i can't get graphics working (in installer) FakeSMC injected thru Clover ig-platform-id is 0x01660004 Args are: slide=0 npci=0x2000 -v -f With injected kexts
Mirone
@TheTourist You can delete the NVIDIA kexts and you must use ig-platform-id is 0x01660003 for installation and then later can re-use ig-platform-id is 0x01660004.
Morpheus NS
I can't install GM no matter what I do... Tried: Clover r3259 (vanilla method copying Packages etc.) with "regular" AptioFix that comes with it (zone_init allocation error), AptioFix2 (zone_init allocation error) and patched Clover (old Clover, only partial success, can't get through Missing Bluetooth Controller) Clover r3264 (--createinstallmedia method) made with CloverGrower with new AptioFix (zone_init allocation error). Basically, the only way to get through zone_init error is ancient Clover (r2xxx)... Now I'm stuck, don't have any ideas left. I use FakeSMC.kext on EFI partition (6.16.1372). Config.plist includes 0x28 and 0x67 values for BooterConfig and CSRActiveConfig, are these correct? Any idea?

Morpheus NS
I just tried legacy Clover and I get the same kernel panic. Earlier today I tried Enoch bootloader and it shows that I have 4042MB of RAM, could this be the cause? UEFI shows correct values, I have one stick of RAM in the second slot because the first one doesn't work. Yosemite works perfectly fine on the same machine... TheTourist
nv_disable=1 I tried, but this don't work. If you have Create Install Media its impossible to removing kext inside.dmg The dmg is read Only I used hdiutil attach with -shadow flag to mount read/write, removed NV* kexts from S/L/E. And then used hdiutil convert with -shadow flag to recreate DMG. Currently i have boot the installer, but keyboard and touchpad don't work (Elantech touchpad not injected properly and i forgot to put PS2 kext to /S/L/E) Update Updated without troubles, no need to reinstall kexts, except one (AppleHDA, which need to manually patched for my VIA VT1802) But 'About system' shows Intel HD4000 1536Mb instead of 1024, which shows in 10.10 Edited September 13, 2015 by TheTourist
