Allan
You can try add "Shutdown" patch for Clover in your config.plist. http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/ACPI#DSDT-/-Fixes
sunnytse1
You can try add "Shutdown" patch for Clover in your config.plist. http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/ACPI#DSDT-/-Fixes i have checked that "Fix shutdown" box in clover configurator, but it didn't work. Please kindly look into my config.plist and see if the problem can be fixed. Thank you soooo much. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ju8galhd173zbeo/config.plist?dl=
Allan
I can't take a look in your config.plist right now, because i'm my job. You need apply AddDTGP too. Inserts Method (DTGP) into DSDT. It is required for _DSM methods, so if you use some other DSDT fix to inject device properties then you must enable this. No sense to use this method without other fixes.

I have also applied halt enabler, but it still won't shut down. I will try more different clover options.

Allan
You add -xcpm in boot arguments? Ok, i'm in my home now, so i modified the config.plist for you. Try this: config.plist.zip

Try this: config.plist.zip Just installed a fresh copy of os x. Still have the problem. I noticed even if i use chimera the pc still can't shutdown. The only difference is the fans will keep spinning but not reboot. I can confirm that my bios setting is correct. I can still shutdown this damn thing a week ago. Also, I have checked all the cables. They are properly connected to the motherboard. Maybe apple hacked into my system? I have totally no idea now...

vandebergz
I think not. I can shut down on mavericks but not yosemite. Weird problem. In my case, sometimes when I choose restart the machine get stuck like it's going to shut down(power led on, fan on, but no activity), but after some secs it forces shut down itself rather than restart. Tried RTC fix and fix shutdown v1 and v2, also Clover's shutdown fix. Still, the problem remains. Edit: I solved mine by applying ASUS and Kernel PM patch in clover
