My Yosemite installation is almost fully functional except my (Non overclocked) CPU is constantly running on a high clockspeed which results in it overheating (Getting upto 60-61C in 10-15 minutes usage).

This does not happen in Windows 8.1, 7 and Linux Mint 17.1 all on same machine. Is there a way by which I can set a constant lower clockspeed of my CPU only in Yosemite without affecting it in Windows and Linux? Or is there a way to enable cpu throttling in Yosemite for my CPU, like AMD cool n quite feature?

My System:

AMD FX 8150

Asus m5a99x evo

AMD Radeon 7850

16 GB RAM

Additional Info: 1: I have tried Rampage Devs SSDT from his AMD DMG pack, it brought my temps from 60-61 C to 56-58 C but Its not enough.

2: No hardware monitoring apps show my CPU ID or its temp/ clock information. About this Mac shows My CPU as Unknown at 3.61 ghz and thats it.

I have read that but there are two problems, 1st I cant download those files shared by the OP of that thread

and second they are hardware monitoring apps, they are useful and I want them but my main concern is lowering CPU clock speed.

But can u repost those files shared in that thread so I can download them, if u have them?
