romanjb
I've built a couple Hackintoshes, but I suddenly inherited a 2012 Chronos 7 laptop. Decided to start with VMware. Installed player 7 and unlocked it. Created a VM with with plop image. I know there are various instructions of how to install os x. However, I have a vanilla bootable ML USB drive lying around so decided to try. Set the vm to os x 10.8 and booted. Presto, I have os x running and can login. However, no matter how I set the networking in vm, the Mac doesn't have a nic. I played with vmnetcfg, but no luck. I have ##### on the drive, but don't know which if any driver to install. If you tell me, go follow proven methods, I'll understand, but I'd love to know at least why it doesn't work.
