According to Intel http://ark.intel.com/ru/products/78955/Intel-Celeron-Processor-G1820-2M-Cache-2_70-GHz Celeron G1820 have SSE4.1/4.2 instructions... There's 39 83f83a(too many). To figure out those '83f83a', just type the following command line in terminal hexdump -C [Your Kernel Loacation] then type in '83 f8 3a'. Blaggah Posted June 29, 2016 Share Posted June 29, 2016 I've left my custom pc which was intentionally built to run Mac months ago simply because I couldn't get a solid performance out of due to my CPU which seemed to be a bit problematic when it first arrived in the market. I bought my motherboard+cpu at my local Microcenter location for about $120 at the time, and I honestly haven't had any hours on them because I have other machines laying around. My motherboard is the MSI PC Mate Z97 along with Intel Pentium G3258 cpu. Anyone has successfully managed to get either latest Yosemite 10.10.5 or El Capitan 10.11.5 running with this CPU with no issues? My problem before was that I couldn't get proper sleep management to work when i managed to install Mountain Lion installed initially. I wanna say, Haswell Celeron and Pentium on Sierra is OK Here's my solution: 1. Use Clover r3650 2. FakeCPUID = 0x0306A0 3. Vanilla Sierra installation disk(public beta 16A238m) [Maybe unrelated, I haven't tested other Sierra version] 4. Important: Place NullCPUPowerManagement.kext under Clover/kexts/Other, or place it directly into /S*/L*/E* to prevent kernel panic 5. Vanilla/untouched mach_kernel. I've tested it successfully on my G1840, here's my specification and configuration files: Motherboard: MSI H87M-G43 CPU: Celeron G1840 Graphics: Dell GT630 with UEFI vBios CLOVER.zip P.S. Next step, I will find out the binary patch for AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement on Sierra, which is the main reason that causes the kernel panic on Haswell Pentium and Celeron.
