@Prathamesh555,

No. El Capitan 10.11 is a DP1 and it'll only introduce bugs. If i had a Mac i would install it but not in my hackintosh.

@TarvoMaesepp,

That's bad news. If you do not have access to any Mac then you'll have to use a virtual machine to create bootable OS X usb as @Prathamesh555 suggested.

I know you have the tendency to skip DP/Beta/RC and wait for the GM to avoid the hassle and you are correct. One should only focus on fixing things once and not every time a new build is released. However, it does not look that bad as many people are reporting successful installation on their machines so I would expect an acceptable experience here.

Yes I agree as well and would advice myself and everyone: always keep a bootable USB for OS X around because you never know when you may need it.

Indeed. But i'm lazy :P

What i did is create a 10 GB (Yosemite Installer) partition in my HDD and copied Yosemite Installer into it and a separate clover_installer.plist. So whenever i want to install Yosemite again, i simply rename "config_installer.plist" to "config.plist" (whcih can be done from any OS) and boot into "Yosemite Installer" partition to install Yosemite.

That way my only 16 GB Pen Drive is available for other uses.

That is so genius :D I am Downloading virtualware image atm. Should be able to start all the process again later today.

That's a very good idea  :thumbsup_anim:

I know :D

The only thing to do before is to keep bare minimum kexts (viz FakeSMC & VodooPS2) in clover/kexts/ folder. Other kexts (including FakeSMC) should be installed to S/LE directly and set clover config.plist's "InjectKext" property to "Detect". Since you installed all required kexts in S/L/E, clover detects FakeSMC loaded in kernel cache it'll not inject kexts from "clover/kexts/" when you boot to a working Yosemite. But in case of the "installer" partition it'll not detect FakeSMC in kernel cache and therefore will inject kexts from "clover/kexts/" which is what happens when you boot from USB.

Best of both worlds :)

I have now successfully installed Mavericks on VirtualBox ISO version and downloaded Yosemite but the problem is, it won't recognize my USB. Failed to attach USB.

I never used VirtualBox for OS X and had flawless experience with VMware Workstation as the guys told you. If one solution is proven to work then go with it, no need to try fixing other non related issues. Ditch VirtualBox, install VMware Workstation and apply the unlocker, download a Mavericks vmware image and load it, then continue.

You must have done something wrong. Follow the guide carefully. Read it once again.

I followed the guide so carefully. This guide is in my head already :D. There is nothing to do wrong while installing.That is really weird. Now if I LOOKNIN WINDOWS DISK MANAGER i see Yosemite partition is 100% free. How it is possible after installing ???

I happen to see this before. This is an indicator of bad (failed) install. You will have to reinstall OS X again of course but first, post a pic of your partition layout from within Windows. (diskpart, sel disk 0, list par)

Normal. Windows does that for file systems it cannot r/w.

You are using Legacy or UEFI boot?

I am using UEFI but for now I am in OSX and I want to know where I have to install clover now USB again or to partition?

I thought you said you cannot see icon for OSX in clover so I wonder how you eventually booted there ...

Yup, i am so glad that pretty much everything is going in good way :) but now if I install clover, I don't have to install drivers and other things I installed in installer part?

These are right options? http://www.upload.ee/files/4776410/image.jpg.html

I'm gonna say this one more time: Read the guide "carefully".

Everything you need is explained well in there. I cannot explain it any better.
