theconnactic
Sleep and wake works beautifully here, but the computer will wake only by pressing the power switch. The App Store won't load here, any of its tabs, even with Shewolf's workaround. All the best!
Duran Keeley
The App Store & Safari are crashing because of WebKit, to be specific the JavaScript. libllvmForJSC.dylib in the JavaScriptCore.framework (in the nightly build of WebKit). Most likely when Apple added LLVM to their JavaScript engine Nitro (just a theory). This is kernel related.
theconnactic
Interesting. Does it (or do they, but Safari seems to be working here, since I access Netflix from it here) crash with FX CPUs? That's the question we all must have answered from testers at the moment. If the bug is restricted to old CPUs, it's not only kernel related, but opemu related as well. All the best!

Agreed, if we can get some FX CPU testers to give it a try (icloud.com seems to be the biggie when it comes to crashing the JS) and also some users to try the nightly builds of WebKit: http://nightly.webkit.org/ EDIT: theconnactic, up for help building WebKit from source? thehux
AMD Athlon Bug This.. I have the same problem but I'm running an AMD Phenom X4 955 and AMD Radeon 5770. It presents itself exactly as shown in the screenshot. Also I noticed that Icons are only selectable at all times if I click the text underneath them, which I'm guessing is related. That said, impressed with the general performance.
biscate
First of all, thank you guys! Just for registering, the Bronya 10.10 Kernel RC1 worked fine in my (very) old Acer Aspire 5050 (AMD Turion [Athlon x1 CPU]) with little glitches and artifacts, as early mentioned by Bronya. Using ##### installer, added the Bronya kernel and SuperVIAATA.kext to the USB drive installer and HD installation drive (post-install). Note: in my machines, I use no HD boot files, so boot always from the ##### prepared USB drive, that means, no "local" chimera or other HD installed bootloader, also no boot flags in org.chameleon,bootloader.plis or smbios.plist. I want keep it that way unless the installation/machine ask for a change (maybe this is time!) Of course, have no QE/CI as there is no driver solution for my ATI x1100 graphics in this OSX version. No such a problem while using the machine for internet and mail apps only. Changed the original wifi card for a compatible Broadcom, so at least got wireless internet. Still, no audio, bluetooth, card reader, etc... working on it. I got OSX working on that machine only with Mavericks and, now, Yosemite Bronya kernels, tried SL, Lion but not succeeded. Hope it helps someone!
gils83
Well, the installation went through, however I'm booting to a set of white screens which reminds me of what I encountered with post-10.9.1 updates until AppleACPIPlatform + IOPCIFamily kexts were replaced by 10.9.1's versions. So, for the moment, I can only reach Yosemite desktop if booting with nv_disable=1 Chameleon option which leads me to a very poor unaccelerated 10.10 system. tu es dieux le père !!! j'aurais jamais cru que ça marche !!! seulement , il y a beaucoup de kext à remplacer qui dépendent de ACPIPlaform Mavericks , impressionnant , je vais faire un mkext de ceux ML 10.9 (13A603) Merci hervé you are the father gods !!! I never thought that it works !!! only, there is a lot of kext to replace dependent ACPIPlaform Mavericks, awesome, I'll make a mkext those ML 10.9 (13A603) Herve thank you

simc93
Here on an athlon II X4 620 with the bronya's rc2 kernel (with bronya's opemu) almost all graphical glitches are gone (launchpad, mouse), but some icons and apps corners still have them. -The opemu error (high reg ssse ) on the console vanished as well. -Safari and appstore are totally broken, much more than before. Much better than rc1!!! Congrats and thank you!
Eweie
RC2 #1 does allow me to do screenshots with CMD-SHIFT-3/CMD-SHIFT-4 (with old known bug), something that RC2 #2 does not permit (returns above error message all the time, i.e. "Your screen shot can't be saved. Failure to write image data."). Changing desktop wallpaper appears very buggy with both kernels, the resulting screen background being usually totally corrupt. change the screenshot format to BMP. Eweie
I've tested both kernels. pros: glitches on icons are gone can select icons in desktop cons: stores and safari broken again, fix not working graphical glitches are still present in image thumbnails in finder and in Preview (and many other places like Skype avatars) graphical glitches were introduced to the UI in some places (see attachment) still cant select items in finder without selecting by the name video playback is broken on final cut pro (only rendering was broken with rc1 which still is, see attachment) Kernel 2 breaks almost half of the System Preferences panes (see attachment) the old opemu error is gone but there's a new one that appears seemingly as often in kernel 1, I don't think it does in kernel 2 kernel[0]: BUG in process suhelperd[204]: over-released legacy external boost assertions (1 total, 1 external, 0 legacy-external) I think that's about it. spakk
Users with appropriate nvidia graphics cards, should note here:Current Web drivers see here, these are constantly updated by fantomas1, many thx noted the comments below: for those who have the last nvidia web driver (this also concerns the previous releases) and have the 'CUDA Driver update required' message with the last for example "CUDA 6.5.18" driver version, here's the fix: Go to /Library/Frameworks/CUDA.framework/Versions/A/Resources then open Info.plist. Find NVDAResmanVersions and add this: 343.01.01343.01.01 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com...yList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>CFBundleDevelopmentRegion</key> <string>English</string> <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> <string>com.nvidia.CUDA</string> <key>CFBundleName</key> <string>CUDA</string> <key>CFBundlePackageType</key> <string>FMWK</string> <key>CFBundleShortVersionString</key> <string>6.5.18</string> <key>CFBundleVersion</key> <string>6.5.18</string> <key>NSHumanReadableCopyright</key> <string>© NVIDIA, 2009</string> <key>CFBundleInfoDictionaryVersion</key> <string>6.0</string> <key>CFBundleSignature</key> <string>????</string> <key>MaxSupportedNVDAResmanVersion</key> <string>34390</string> <key>NVDAResmanVersions</key> <dict> <key>304.10.65</key> <string>304.10.65</string> <key>313.01.01</key> <string>313.01.01</string> <key>313.01.02</key> <string>313.01.02</string> <key>313.01.03</key> <string>313.01.03</string> <key>313.01.04</key> <string>313.01.04</string> <key>310.40.00.05</key> <string>310.40.00.05</string> <key>310.40.00.10</key> <string>310.40.00.10</string> <key>310.40.00.15</key> <string>310.40.00.15</string> <key>310.40.00.20</key> <string>310.40.00.20</string> <key>331.01.01</key> <string>331.01.01</string> <key>334.01.01</key> <string>334.01.01</string> <key>334.01.02</key> <string>334.01.02</string> <key>310.90.9.05</key> <string>310.90.9.05</string> <key>310.90.10.05</key> <string>310.90.10.05</string> <key>310.40.25</key> <string>310.40.25</string> <key>310.40.35</key> <string>310.40.35</string> <key>310.40.45</key> <string>310.40.45</string> <key>310.40.55</key> <string>310.40.55</string> <key>310.40.05</key> <string>310.40.05</string> <key>310.40.15</key> <string>310.40.15</string> <key>334.01.03</key> <string>334.01.03</string> <key>310.41.05</key> <string>310.41.05</string> <key>334.01.20</key> <string>334.01.20</string> <key>295.30.00</key> <string>295.30.00</string> <key>295.30.20</key> <string>295.30.20</string> <key>304.00.00</key> <string>304.00.00</string> <key>304.00.05</key> <string>304.00.05</string> <key>304.10.10</key> <string>304.10.10</string> <key>304.10.20</key> <string>304.10.20</string> <key>343.01.01</key> <string>343.01.01</string> </dict> </dict> </plist> then restart your hackintosh
