Finally ! :thumbsup_anim:

With 1010-kernel-REV-8N and 10102-UPD-Patch-pthread.kext, my Athlon 64 x2 3800+ works good with 10.10.2 and latest Security Update !

Great works and many thanks to all of you :thumbsup_anim:

I just still have a little anoying problem with Time Sync… The clock doesn't update as it should. But I can manage that as it's not essential.

which flags at startup?

Hey. the clock problem sounds like the fsb is set incorrectly. note: cpu fsb and pci bus speed are normally linked unless you can lock/set the pci bus speed manually (impacting connected devices) did you try clover, it auto detects fsb well. maybe you just need to set your fsb manually with your current bootloader / kernel configuration? hope you work it out!

btw incredible work here guys!

No overclocking. And yeah, I tried Clover but it won't even boot on my HP dc5750. It always stops at the Maintenance screen (or whatever his name).

try boot flag -cpuEFI

Thanks, I'll try this.

Update : No change with this boot flag :(

Update 2 : added fsb=800 busratio=10 in kernel flags but still no changes. BTW, is VoodooTSCSyncAMD.kext still necessary with this new Kernel ?

I'll tell you why opcode64

Why do some people have and some people do not

That is the Sysenter/Syscall return Address error

Some people may use different versions kext cause problems

For example, the display driver using an older OS kext

Because I had originally intended to compile 32bit system I found that all the relevant opcode errors related sysenter

32 bit is the best way to use the patch

If using a similar  10.6.3 32-bit Kernel sysenter dyld Add Source correction mode slow with only cause instability

So I renounce 10.5-10.7 32-bit xnu Building

Also found opcode64 / 32 problem is sysenter

So if there are problems opcode64/32 error

Should first check to your own add kext

and Try using a Mac original kext

10.10 UDP to 10.10.2

this is pthread Function pthread_init updates  kernel 10.10 Not with update

must use the old Function pthread_init

SO  The key is pthread.kext  not IOPCIFamily.kext

IOPCIFamily.kext Patch Nothing to do with upgrade

This is misleading

new graphics card Users do not need IOPCIFamily.kext Patch

AND

I Ignore intel original CPU Support.

i3 i5 i7 Xeon can use the original kernel

AMD kernel add Support i3 i5 i7

I think it is superfluous

Because a lot of intel source is modified In BSD section

Even while support may also have problems

Я развернул систему через R-Drive и подкинул ядро.

CPU Phenom II x6 1075T.

Да видимо что это проблема права. Короче лучше копировать DVD на жесткий диск и запустить от hdd и установить на другой раздел винчестера! )

Это быть от того что система на четвертом разделе по счету?

HA HA ..... face62.gif

Thread 0 Crashed:

0   dyld                           0x8fe5dbcf _sysenter_trap + 3
1   dyld                           0x8fe5caaf mach_init + 26
2   dyld                           0x8fe3619c dyldbootstrap::start(macho_header const*, int, char const**, long, macho_header const*, unsigned long*) + 278
3   dyld                           0x8fe36047 _dyld_start + 71

I've said

These errors are related to the relevant sysenter

Users must check their own add kext

Cross versions use on the problem

I have read axmanA posts

this IOPCIFamily is 10.9.2 Ver

You use the 10.9.2 kext apply at 10.10
Then say:This is the kernel of the problem

This is simply a user problem

If you do not want opcode64

You must use the 10.10 version patch

This has nothing to do with the kernel

I can confirm that his perception is wrong
You can upload the 10.9.2 IOPCIFamily.kext Patch
I can make a 10.10 patch
This has nothing to do with the kernel confirmed

From the Forum is open
Many documents have been unable to download

Can you make a 10.10.x patch for IOPCIFamily.kext,  AppleACPIPlatform.kext & AppleAHCIPort.kext ?

I need it for my AMD hackintosh (Athlon 64 x2 3800+ CPU in Acer Power M8) because it always stuck after "PCI configuration begin" in 10.9.5 and 10.10.1 which can not be solved by boot flag with npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000, etc.

Applied "no pci kext" patched by carlo_67 solved my problem in 10.9.5, but it was not working in 10.10.1.

By the way thanks for your excellent kernels (esp. 8N version) posted here which are working perfectly in other AMD Hackintosh of mine in Asus M3A (Phenom x4 9850 CPU) and Asus M4A78 Plus (Athlon 64 x2 6000+ CPU).

Edit:

Eventually solved today.
