Probably due to previously patched kexts corrupting 10.10.5. Did you try a clean install?

 

On my clean install, I did not have to change any kexts except for my usual graphics/sound/NForce patches.  No corecrypto/pthread needed.

 

 

j'ai eu le doute hier suite à plusieurs essais , je referais ce soir l'arborescence proprement .

 

I had doubt yesterday after several tries, I would do this evening the tree itself.

More goodies: Install the following kernel on a clean 10.10.5 installation.  Just add your normal kexts needed for Yosemite.

Clean 10.10.5 install + your kernel + Clover, nothing else. System has been installed and working (with base video driver, nv_disable=1). Thank you very much!

Will install kexts for hardware later.

Got this using the 10.10.5 kernel

Got the same with old installation and kexts. With clean install without any kexts all is Ok.

May i get the new extensions? As i had used y2k4u 10.10.5 kernel..it had booted up but when im trying to open finder, finder is crashing.

Ok gils, i had succesfully updated to 10.10.5 on amdfx 8350..using 10.10.5 kernel by y2k4u and extensions package from tora chi kernel of 10.10.4

 

Its buttery smooth and runs great.

Nope..first i installed 10.10.1 wd my yosemite USB drive and then i had updated it with the combo update downloaded from Apple website. U can easily update via app store..after update, remember to paste the kernel and the required kext in your mac drive before restarting so that u can boot with the kernwl by using it on the chameleon or clover menu, whichever u are using.

After a hard working week, now come for testing and finally to patch a new amd kernel based on my recent kernel, in Annex
I can confirm that the kernel of y2k4u "10105R1" works with an absolute clean install and doing its job.
That is without the addition of system drivers from a previous version. or patching system drivers. Successfully tested with 10.10.5_SSEPlus_V2 too

Guyz, using Y2k4u 10.10.5 kernel, everything is working great except voodoohda audio..i think the kernel is not allowing the kext to load..help me.

I do not understand, have no changes made in cpuid. Merom must be compatible.

you need to delete / remove the AppleHDa.kext, if  u  installed the VoodaHda otherwise comes a Kernel Panic  .... always install only one driver for the hardware, never to install two the same time ..... Please perform again, it should work ....

More goodies: Install the following kernel on a clean 10.10.5 installation.  Just add your normal kexts needed for Yosemite.

 

 

10105R1.zip

Successfully update to 10.10.5 via App Store.

Replace kernel (no need to replace any system kexts).

Reinstall AppleHDA for my audio, repair permissions and rebuild kernel cache.
