we need a new kernel for AMD 14.4 ,Yo 10.10.5  does not work, the opposite would surprise me ;)

Where are the geniuses, I have not seen a long time here, unfortunately. :(   and unfortunately Apple has only published xnu-2782.10.72 , 10.10.2 ---> this is the last kernel ---> kern.version: Darwin Kernel Version 14.1.0  :( ......and has nobody run Yosemite 10.10.5 with Build 14F19a???

Hi,

I too want to report a successful install of Yosemite 10.10.4, with Tora Chi Yo rev8 on AMD Phenom II x4 B60.

So far it's the fastest OS/Kernel for me since 10.8 on the same machine. So congrats to developpers.

2 things : I had to "upgrade" smbios from MacPro5.1 to 6.1 to get CPU to work properly (Cinebench was slow and low before)

I had to revert JmicronATA.kext 1.0.3 by Andy Vandijck to Jmicron36xATA 1.0.2 by MacMan to get the IDE port of my Jmicron363 PCIe card to work.

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304002-jmicronata-103-for-yosemite/

This 1.0.3 kext was not working properly with kernel, disk not mounting, and Opcode errors were flooding my system with Tora Chi Yo's kernel rev8. With Bronya's rc7, I got KernelPanic in JmicronATA.kext (dep. in IOPCI & IOATA)

Otherwise, I had to remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, and added AppleNforceATA 1.0.5, AppleNforceLAN, AHCIportInjector, IOAHCIBlockStorage Injector, Jmicron36xATA, pthread & VoodooHDA. Also Patched my DSDT for the Jmicron PCIe card to work.

Sleep, reboot, shutdown are working properly.

I put GraphicsEnabler=yes in Chameleon for my GTX560 to work (added infos to AGPM, and reset configs from AppleGraphicsControl, and then power management was working with smbios MacPro6.1)

Also, I tried CPU power Management : VoodooPstate 1.0.3 was working with pstateMenu. (VoodooPstate 1.0.4 failed, stuck @ 800Mhz or 1600Mhz). But boot was too slow (nearly twice the usual boot time) before PstateMenu took control and unleashed the cpu's full frequency. So I revert to no Pstate management.

Boot options : Kext_dev_mode=1 npci=0x2000 nvda_drv=1 UsbBusFix=yes

hello guys

After you upgrade to 10.10.4 or 10.10.5, the system restarts at the beginning of the boot with Clover. I updated the prelinked-kernel and the kernel cache and nothing.

I can only booting, changing the prelinked-kernel and the kernelcache created from 10.10.3, but of course the system updates the caches and the same error occurs in the next boot. I can't upgrade to -prelinked-kernel and correct kernelcache.

The wrong way I could do to use the system, change the prelink kernel was created from the 10.10.3 and block it, so the system does not recreate another.

I use the Clover and the kernel Tora Chi Yo 8N + pthread.kext

I'm trying from update and clean install, and the results are the same.

PS. I have the same problem with Intel processor and original kernel.

have patience for my english  :P

10.10.4 here's a wonder will not update until out a new kernel for the tests here without success.

I use for my chipset this driver: AppleNForceATA.imk64bit.kext, is just another chipset.

verdant, writes see into spoiler:

This is because my current understanding is that the following nForce chipsets are not fully AHCI compliant and so can be used with imk's 64bit version of the always mentioned nForceATA.kext:

nForce 430/410 (MCP51), nForce 590/570/550/680i/650i/780i/750i/790i (MCP55) and nForce 430/405/400 (MCP61); nForce 560/520 (MCP65) and nForce 630a (MCP67)

Furthermore, the MOBOs using one of these nForce chipsets usually have the BIOS option to set the enable nForce SATA Controller and require SATA RAID to be Enabled (implicitly enabling AHCI mode) even when not running a RAID system, for the NForceATA.kext to work.

In contrast, the following nForce chipsets are/may be fully-AHCI compliant and so do not/may not work with the AppleNForceATA.kext:

nForce 560/520 (MCP65) and nForce 630a (MCP67); nForce 630i/620i/610i (MCP73), nForce 730a/720a/710a (MCP78) and nForce ION (MCP79)

nForce chipsets (MCP65 and higher) support the advanced SATA features in the AHCI standard, such as NCQ etc.

The MOBOs using one of these nForce chipsets usually have the BIOS option to set the nForce SATA Controllers to "AHCI Mode" instead of "IDE Mode".

But read here, possibly, it may help you:

Hi Spakk, Thank you, I remember this guide, I used It in ML (except it's wrong about my chipset : mine is a 630a (MCP61), not MCP67 as reported in the guide) The rest's all good but the nforceATA kexts were a little slow on boot on my rig.

And the guide's also wrong about AHCI mode : on my MCP61 chipset, whether I set IDE or RAID in Bios (I have no AHCI option) doesn't change anything in OS X, unless I create RAID arrays in bios, which obviously format disks, but sticks to legacy mode : so setting Raid mode is probably the nearest thing to AHCI, but It ain't AHCI : for instance SSD disks are not identify as such, and no Trim can be enabled.

NforceATA users can also read http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293219-nforce-os-x-mavericks-109-app-store-download-install-guide-on-a-series-6-or-7-nforce-chipset-intel-cpu-mobo/page-6?do=findComment&comment=2044186, jamiethemorris had patched ioatafamily to speed up boot with applenforceata.

But I guess now the best kext for nforce chipset is Tora Chi Yo's http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304768-applenforceata-105/

With that kext (1.0.5), My pc goes from OS selection in Chameleon to OS X login in 8/9 seconds. The only drawback is the IDE port stuck to UDMA 2. But I don't care cause I don't use it.

I have the solution for installing Yosemite 10.10.5 build 14F25a ..at the moment still hang in iobluetooth ...... I think I'll be in the desktop, then I'll tell you how easy to install 10.10.5., then I'm going to upload an install package 10.10.5. I write in about 1 hour.... :D

The installation can be explained in a few steps.

1)

After you've created the installation on an external HDD or a free partition, then start myHack.app and remove the problematic kext drivers from S / L /E / unless we should have a nvidia graphics card, then remove following drivers: AppleGraphicsControl.kext, AppleTyMCEDriver. kext, AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext

2)

then we install the contents from the 10.10.4 package, all three drivers so that: AppleACIPIPlatform.kext, IOPCIFamily.kext, pthread.kext

3)

then we take from a previous executable Yosemite version or from Yosemite 10.10 DP1: IOGraphicsfamily.kext, IONDRVSupport.kext

4)

and finally, we repaier the disk permissions on the HDD / partition, then refresh the cache.

Should you stuck here: *** [iOBluetoothHCIController] [searchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] - Missing Bluetooth Controller transport!

..... Well, then you are no further, than I .... I'm still doing to resolve the sh_it problem on my hackintosh.

I hate that .....
perhaps, who have no nvidia graphics card, have it easier ... probably.

No, a Kernel Panic not appear! .... Generally, the problem is solvable

I use the kernel, in my signature, this runs without problems with Build 14F19a, and with the other experiment-partition build 14F25a

victor Moises n, my friend ...

....I had to do other tasks ..... so, now to your case,  after you have written your  specifications, now we can see, that you have a Nvidia graphics card.

then it is advisable, to remove after each update, these three drivers ---> AppleGraphicsControl.kext, AppleTyMCEDriver. kext, AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext,

either remove it manually or by using of myhack.app.  after remove these drivers, you need to repair the permissions and then refresh the cache, then you can start your hackintosh.

In fact, Bronya has created a lot of good amd kernels and designed many kernels for FX CPU's, unfortunately we lack Bronya, Tora, Andy and Sinetek. tthe AMD development has come to a standstill.

and we need their help, .... I can do nothing to change, that's a fact.

and the next fact is I'm not a programmer, and I try with my few knowledge to help you all, I can do. Therefore I beg you to be patient and to also understand our situation.

thx

Repair permissions and the Yosemite propio the disc ultilitario and what you speak, I do not hack my app can manually remove these kext before upgrading it here 10.10.4 this opening but when I upgrade to 10.10.5 does not open even I deleting these files by windows via Paragon hFS because it was via paragon who have access to the yosemite hD and subistituo the kernel.

Sorry for the bad quality it reboots really fast so had to video and screenshot it. This is where my test 10.10.5 stops. Only kernel and pthread has been replaced. Going to play about and see if I can get further.

I've come this far. But only through many adjustments. I will now remove AppelCpuPowerManagement, then the system will boot.
