udnan
10.4.6 patched dvd install (Jas) with 10.4.7 Jas patch. Installation works perfectly on both internal disk partition and external USB disk. Booting fails 9 out of 10 times with only a blue screen and no cursor/login screen from both installations. When boot is successfull, works perfectly (display 1400x1050) from both internal disk and USB HDD. When ever boot is successful, some touch pad/tactile point activity during disappearence and reappearence of blue screen seems to work (no real corellation) Tried FnF7 (from earlier posts) at various points of boot process with no luck. Sorry, I have not made an exhaustive search of the forum for an answer since I just joined. Any pointer for a reliable boot will be appreciated. Rammjet
blue screen Your laptop has Intel 915 graphics. You must connect something to the VGA port during boot: connect a monitor, or a VGA dongle, or try the 2-wire trick: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?ac...ost&id=1522 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/30184-boot-problem/#findComment-209244 Share on other sites
