As the title says, it is a VMWare image ( a virtual disk image). It is not a bootable CD.

Fire up VMWare and point it to the image. You will find that you have downloaded a rather old version of 10.4.1 OSX that has limited use.

Download a 10.4.5, 10.4.6 or 10.4.7 install DVD.

you are right . i'm sorry.

the error is that i dont have enough disk space. but i do. i have more than 20giga free space on the download target (partition d;/ ). any way the download got stuck on the very begining so i deleted it.

would you please tell me if this file is right ? please notice that this file is smaller than the previous.

and when i burn it- should it be on "create iso" mode ?

thank you

Hi ronikondo and welcome to the insanley mac forums.. :gathering:

Yes that image is ok, I would suggest searching for Jas on a popular torrent site and download the 10.4.7 image it has much more on the DVD than most,

If you use nero or any other popular burning software there should be a option to "Burn Image File"

Regards.

It looks like you are downloading a folder.

There is a tab in Azureus that tells you what files are in the item you are downloading. Or you could just find the item on your hard drive and examine it.

I'm betting you will find a bunch of rar files in the folder. Join them using Winrar or other similar utility and it becomes an iso.
