Okay! I'll look for the updated kexts!

I'm using clover installer downloaded from clover configurator (last version) to install clover on my usb.

Should I go with "hfsplus uefi" or I stay with" hfsplus"

As you can see, rootless=0 isn't selected in my config, should I select it?

if you're following midi's updated guide and already set the booter and csr keys/values, you don't need rootless = 0. but to my knowledge even if you have rootless =0 as well as booter and csr it will still work fine.

the HSF drivers from the original midi zip should work if you just paste all of them over. but i do not know the answer to your question.

Hey guys, I am writing the guide and it's almost finished. Sorry it's taking so long but I'm having issues with my system..

I recommend using a fresh config.plist and adding/removing things later.

Gr8 :D I'm looking forward to reading it :D

Well, i have screenshot in the previous page... Stuck after Bluetooth or something

Should I use a complete empty config.plist or I edit the one that came with clover installer?

I tried with an empty config.plist and it did exactly like in the screenshot. Also tried with a config.plist without any modifications and it did the same as smc

ok make sure you have FakeSMC! if not, download it and put in kext folder, THEN make sure you selected Inject Intel AND the correct ig-platform-id, did you do these? and make sure you do the same thing for other options that you need to select (and make sure especially for verbose!)

IT'S USB PROBLEM! which port did you plug your USB?

@midi your config made my screen blink a few times and then hung there for a while. I also followed your new El Capitan guide as best I can to create my own config file (I couldn't really install onto the CLOVER partition because it can't get recognized by my VM running Yosemite) and this led to a kernel panic and a circle with a line through it instead of an Apple showing up

@peppershaker yours loaded (I like your theme) and it didn't work in my USB 2.0 but in my USB 3.0 it seems to be loading the most amount of the installer. However I get a broken screen after it finished with the verbose boot (after ~2-5 mins of the screen showing line outputs)

I have a

SONY SVS131290X

i7-3520m

Nvidia 640m le

Intel HD 4000

a 1366 x 768 screen (so low resolution)

I'll be installing on a Seagate 1TB SSHD, so I don't know if I need the trim support or not (in the guide you said only for SSD and I don't know if a SSHD qualifies as a SSD lol)

I have yet to change wireless cards, just because I don't see a point with buying one if I can't get my USB installer working.
