_smirk Posted August 31, 2014 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Hey i got some problems with my installation on my GB-BXi7-4770R with 10.9 running, i create the 10.10 installer usb stick and added needed kexts(form the 10.9 tutorial) after this i boot the installation with "kext-dev-mode=1" this brings me a screen like that: after this i tried several other boot options like: "-s -x kext-dev-mode=1" what brings me also i tried once "kext-dev-mode=1 -v IGPEnabler=Yes" and "-v IGPEnabler=Yes" what brings me anyone a idea and could assist me on what i m doing wrong or missing? Looks like you'll need to fix an intel gpu issue, or better use a dedicated gpu instead, but at least it is a framebuffer issue! 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is no way for me to switch the card as its a BRIX computer it use a Intel® Iris™ Pro graphics 5200, as far as i see its used in the latest macbook pro retina isn't it? Ive been trying it whit chameleon and get this error and the same final screen as you, just in my case reboot the system immediately. just using MaPwn i ve been able to install but without full QE. just CI.
