LucasX64
Gave up trying to get his working on an AMD 3000+ system and Vmare Workstation 10. Could not get past step 3. The Vmware refuses to start even after doing the Unlocker. Even tried the Hardware patch and that did nothing. Having SoulDevTeam domain being down its very difficult finding detailed instructions. Try playing with this settings if it doesn't work then probably your CPU doesn't support the requirements :\

frustrated
Try playing with this settings if it doesn't work then probably your CPU doesn't support the requirements :\ VMWare Workstation 10 does not have those three checkboxes. It only has the pulldown menu plus Disable Acceleration for Binary Virtualization. Tried all 4 different options in the pull down for preferred methods and none of them work. Motherboard supports Secure Virtual Machine Mode and according to AMD the 6000+ supports AMD Virtualization Technology http://products.amd.com/pages/DesktopCPUDetail.aspx?id=
Mr. Xtreme
You said your system was the amd 3000+?
frustrated
You said your system was the amd 3000+? Sorry that was a mistake. It indeed is an AMD Athlon Dual Core 6000+ CPU running at 3Ghz here. Just checked in Windows here. Virtualbox remember to set the hard drive controller to sksi for a vmware disk. Don't follow the reference to Virtualbox in this thread. Is it not using VMWare Workstation?
Mr. Xtreme
Hmmm. It should work what mobo is it if its a 2012-ish mobo (Mine is) it might use svm (Really its amd-v) but virtual machine applications have been known to have problems with svm mode (VirtualBox should work)

Mr. Xtreme
Let me google that (old should be better). Might work, should in theory google "AMD Mavericks insanelymac.com virtualbox" (With-out quotes) try the first result.
frustrated
I Googled that and the first hit returned is this same thread http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300229-install-os-x-109-in-virtualbox-amd-athlon-64-on-host/

frustrated
Appreciate the help. The last link you posted was putting Mavericks on a PC without the use of a virtual machine. Isn't this temperamental wrt the hardware being used especially motherboard and video card? I would be satisfied with Mavericks under Virtualbox or VMWare.
