kkskks2
I tried to connect to my university's network, but it says that "WPA-Enterprise / WPA2-Enterprise isn't supported yet!!!" When will it be supported? Any idea?
avannoord
Anyone experiencing problems with OS X 10.11 (El Capitan)?? When I updated last night to the GM BETA my Mediatek USB Dongle suffered a heart attack. It still shows up I'm my System Profiler, which means it's recognized, but both the Ralink Wireless Utility and the other D-Link DWA 140 Utility no longer "see" the adapter. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem and what solutions have been found. Thanks.

orf3uz
Fixed! In order to make the driver work again just disable SIP (System integrity protection). Follow these steps in order to disable SIP: 1. restart Mac 2. hold CMD+R until you hear the sound, in this way you are going to boot in Recovery mode 3. From Utilities Menu, select Terminal and write: csrutil disable 4. Terminal will answer System integrity protection is disabled 5. From menu select Restart Done, the driver will work as before the update. !
@ROBASEFR
Here is a little app for managing SIP - SIPUtility.app.v1.0.1 from cvad http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307586-siputilityapp-for-mac-os-x-el-capitan/?hl=+siputility
ArmandH
Just wanted to say that i made mistake in deleting everything after upgrading to Capitan and i had to go read all this topic again to get the right stuff back :-( Probably only needed to disable SIP, because that is what is needed after you upgrade to make it work again. jamez
Unfortunately I have not managed to make the driver work with El Capitan (used to work on Yosemite - see my earlier post). I have used SIPUtility to disable sip: Additionally, I noticed that when installing the package, no kext's are put inside /System/Library/Extensions
jamez
I solved the problem my putting the driver manually myself. I documented the whole process here: http://www.jamesattard.com/2015/10/ralink-rt5370-usb-wifi-adapter-on-el.html

=)(=
Updated Ralink/Mediatek drivers for USB dongles released at 29/11/2013. MAVERICKS AND YOSEMITE COMPATIBLE Drivers downloaded from http://www.mediatek.com/en/downloads/usb-rt2870rt2770rt3x7xrt537xrt5572/ I made a zip file with oficial drivers and a preference pane from dlink that replace the oficial ralink wireless utility. This solve the problematic Ralink Wireless Utility that simply does not work on yosemite and the package doesn´t install the maverick kext in yosemite. ZIP CONTENTS DLINK PREFERENCE PANE INSTALATION Copy preference pane to \System\Library\PreferencePanes\ Copy kext for your MacOS version (use Maverick for Yosemite) to folder \System\Library\Extensions\ Repair permissions Rebuild kext cache Reboot. I solved the problem my putting the driver manually myself. I documented the whole process here: http://www.jamesattard.com/2015/10/ralink-rt5370-usb-wifi-adapter-on-el.html I confirm that the two above solutions is both working on El Capitan for my ASUS N53 which uses 3572 chipset. Is there any way to get this working during OS X setup?
